Fantastic experience: Helen is an awesome dentist. Had a problem over the weekend and phoned first thing Monday morning. Was able to fit me in at 10.30. Quickly diagnosed the problem and needed the tooth to be extracted immediately, which she did. Very thoroughly explained everything, including the post-op care. Love their new premises. Beautifully bright and airy, lovely calm background music playing throughout. Tons of natural light in the reception and waiting areas. For a busy practice, it's very quiet and no overpowering 'dental surgery' smell when you walk in. Receptionists are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of off-street parking. No steps or kerbing to negotiate, so great for those with limited mobility.

Fantastic experience: I was treated with complete respect, everything was explained well.

Negative experience: Racially profiled at sanctuary dentist pukekohe. We were not given the time of day and felt as though we were a waste of her breath. Not helpful at all, one of the nurses even pushed my daughters head down onto the chair. Overall felt racially profiled and very upset after our visit especially after hearing such good reviews.

Fantastic experience: I totally recommend Yvonne at Sanctuary Dental. She listens, takes an long term approach to my teeth care, is positive, painless and has frequently given me advice which involved less procedures/costs than what other dentists have indicated. I thoroughly trust her, am very pleased with all the work she has done and the approach she has taken - especially as I am gradually trying to eliminate the mouthful of mercury I have from dental nurse days. All the staff are very considerate and caring and accommodating. I go to considerable effort to travel to visit Sanctuary Dental as they are the best dentists I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: This review is well overdue! I was recommended Sanctuary Dental by a good friend who also dreads visits to the dentist. How fortunate I felt on meeting the dentist of my dreams, Dr Yvonne Vannoort. I felt instantly at ease as soon as Yvonne entered the room with her warm face and compliments galore. No judgements just making me feel totally at ease and getting down to her professional knowledge on work I was hoping to have. That was about 8 years ago!! I'm not the best at keeping regular appointments but having recommended Sanctuary to work colleagues & family I finally got to visit Yvonne again for some very personal major work. Doing my due diligence I sought another quote but I knew I wouldn't trust any other dentist to carry out what needed doing. This was not far off Christmas but due to the nature of work required Yvonne changed a few appointments around to fit me in at Pukekohe. The work done was amazing!! I was made to feel comfortable and cared for the minute I walked in the door. Yvonne is like one of those special souls that you come across rarely. She oozes warmth, calmness and unlike any other dentist I have visited in my 53 years she actually cares about her patients. If you are looking for the best dentist experience don't go anywhere else. Yvonne's team are a credit to her as well.

Negative experience: Overpriced! Would assume they do a good job considering they charge way more than other places in Pukekohe. Have to go elsewhere now due to them refusing to fix my teeth that they were supposed to help fix earlier, teeth are worse than before I went in. Would avoid and never recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Sanctuary Dental for a while now and have had Helen as my dentist, and Steph as my hygienist. They have both really helped me in getting my oral hygiene back on track, and have also made me feel comfortable and confident with my teeth. I had previously had little dental treatment so it has been nice going somewhere where I don’t feel judged. Overall, will definitely be recommending this place to friends ! Fantastic experience: Would definetly recommend this place to family and friends. The staff were very kind and gentle. They would be great for anyone who felt a little uneasy about going to the dentist. I will definetly be continuing my treatment there ! The new practice that they have just moved in too is awesome ! They have multiple surgeries and use the most modern technology. Overall, would rate this place five stars !!!

Fantastic experience: Hand on heart, these guys are awesome. Our family has been going for years, even after we moved further away from Pukekohe. In that time, they have helped us with regular oral hygiene (teeth cleaning) and orthodontics for our kids and my wife – with amazing results. The team there really know their stuff and they genuinely care. We wouldn't trust anyone else.

Negative experience: Just rang up to ask for average pricing on the cost of fillings and just got rudely told I couldn't have those prices. Said I had to see a dentist beforehand which will end up costing money before knowing the price of them. Other places I contacted have easily given me their prices so now I can make a informed decision to head to one of them instead without the need to spend unnecessary money. Simple request, no logic. Lost a potential customer.
