Fantastic experience: I'm someone who has seldom visited the dentist and, after years of neglect, I was prepared for a lot of dental work and a huge bill. Instead, Parm & Kristy achieved so much in just a few visits and I ended up paying a fraction of what I'd imagined. The communication at Thorndon Dental is excellent: I received a dental treatment plan with an estimate at the end of my first appointment, there were regular reminders for upcoming appointments, and all work was clearly narrated as it happened. I will happily recommend Parm and his team to friends and family, thank you Thorndon Dental!

Fantastic experience: I just wanna drop a little comment in here that is going to help a lot of patients that might get anxiety or feel nervous about going to the dentist! From my own experience getting my wisdom tooth removed with Dr. Parm, he is an amazing Dr with magical hands you would never feel the injection of anesthetic! The whole process is so smooth. So definitely recommend Dr Parm without hesitation.

Negative experience: Rang this place this morning. Told receptionist I am ringing around for prices (we all know how expensive dental work can be) and she laughed at me. Not something to expect when you call up a place when you're in a lot of pain. Also, receptionist did not know the price range of one wisdom tooth extraction. I definitely would not want to go here with a receptionist like that laughing at customers to their faces. One star review based on this experience.

Fantastic experience: I must thank Dr Parm for an excellent experience at his surgery. I had a problem with a canine that eventually needed to be extracted and an implant put in. I am a very anxious person when it comes to dentists. However with Dr Parm, I hardly felt the needle when the anaesthetic needed to be injected. He explained everything in a very gentle tone to put me at ease throughout the process. I find this so reassuring and he knew exactly when to allow me to relax my mouth during the entire process. The after care is also so commendable as he checks on the implant and how well it is working. I am so grateful to have finally found a dentist to be not nervous about. Thank you Dr Parm!

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Gill to fix an ugly yellow defect on one of my front teeth that’s been with me since I fell off a bunk bed when I was 5. It was badly patched when I was in my teens overseas. I wanted to look my best for my wedding. He took a look and speedily put a perfectly matching crown over it and it looks awesome. It doesn’t annoy me when I run my tongue over it either. In and out of there in under 30 mins. Super happy my wedding photos looked stunning.

Fantastic experience: Parm is a great dentist. He has done significant work for me, putting me on a programme for a few months to resolve some issues, including gum and implants. He has rebuilt a tooth, and this has been a painless process with the skills he has with injections. I see him on a regular basis to maintain my teeth and gum health. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm a chair grabber when it comes to dental but Parm and his team are the epitome of "let's get it sorted" even if your squishing his very expensive chair. You couldn't get a better dentist or team to get you feeling confident and comfortable that sometimes things just need fixing and someone has to do that for you. At 60 odd I wish I'd met him earlier. Brilliant team, great value and a lot of thanks.

Positive experience: It's the first time I have never felt the sting of the injection. I was told that there was no reason to be apprehensive but I didn't believe a word of it. The filling was painless and quick. Thank you Dr.Gill. I will be back for the rest of my treatment.

Fantastic experience: Awesome service. Would definitely recommend Dr. Gill. Went in for a general check up about 6 months ago and was advised of some possible underlying issues and how to rectify them myself so I could hopefully avoid expensive dental surgery in the future. Went back again and was told that the possible issues had really cleared up and it was all due to the advise given to me at my initial check up. Thanks a lot for the awesome service.

Fantastic experience: Have always had great service from Dr Gill and his team. Total professionals, and always very welcoming and friendly. Great dental practice, and does a fabulous job with their Cosmetic Teeth Whitening service. Would absolutely reccomend to others.

Fantastic experience: I called up this dental clinic after hours as my son needed urgent dental work. All staff were absolutely AMAZING. They took us in straight away and fixed my sons tooth with care and amazing service. Cannot fault this place or the people and will definitely be back in.

Fantastic experience: Parm and his friendly team are so amazing! I've been going to see Parm for years - I'm completely relaxed because he knows how to fix difficult teeth and it's pain free!! Negative experience: I went in about a chipped veneer. I was subjected to an unsolicited sales pitch about ways to fix aesthetic "problems" with my teeth. These are not issues I mentioned or care about. He filed the chip at the very end, told me he was doing that for free. Got a bill for a $95 "consult". My chipped veneer still has a crack in it. I am incredibly displeased to have been charged a lot of money to be insulted and not even have the issue that brought me in resolved.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth out recently and Parm was great. Tells you what he is doing and before you know it the job is done. Very professional. Staff are awesome. Excellent phone manner and communication as well. Highly recommend. O)h and great parking for a city location as well.
