Fantastic experience: Haven't had anything done yet my appointment is on 26/06 but I just want to give them 5 stars because they are very lovely, helpful and caring people. I'm excited for my dental journey with Lizzie and look forward to my new smile! Great price, lovely team!

Fantastic experience: Great service & value fir money

Fantastic experience: Whenever I come in to the clinic. Everyone is so friendly. From reception, to the amazing assistant and of course Emma! Going to the dentist is never fun but they do all they can to make you feel at ease.

Negative experience: Absolutely useless!! Brought my son in with bad tooth pain, was told they will contact me to let me know outcome once xrays come through. His appointment was the 11/3 it's now the 21/3. I've had to contact them. Just to be told they are unsure if he needs sedation and if he did they can't do it there! What a waste of time. Meanwhile my 16 year old is hardly eating and in pain. Now we need to find an actual competent dentist that's able to help him. Wouldn't recommend!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Had a back tooth extraction done by Lizzie and thought yea-na, there is no way she can rip that one out. After a few minutes to let the gel and shot take effect she started and what seamed like no time at all it was out, was little to no pain the next day and following her advice it has been all good. Price, extremely good. ( drive from the west coast to get it done and still cost less than doing it there even with fuel factored in.) Will i go back. (hell yea made you feel at ease and welcome what more can you ask.)

Negative experience: What a mess. Locum on who had no idea where the equipment was or seemingly how it worked. The owners should advise if a locum is used. Came in to get a broken tooth filled. Not in any pain. Dentist spent 10 minutes trying to get a camera going to photo my gums (not what I was there for). Asked they just do the filling. Lost faith in them. So paid $25 for an xray. $58 for a "checkup" and I got out of there before any more mistakes were made and they started drilling. Avoid. . As per your reply.. Ummm no the gum camera was not required for my appointment. I was there primarily to get a filling. The attitude of the receptionist did not help. I was happy to pay for the xray but I was threatened with debt collectors when I expressed dissatisfaction with the other charge. No discussion allowed. I paid. Update... went to another dentist. Had the filling and paid the money. No "upsell" or waste of my time. Watch out for the "need a root planing" etc. And remember if you are not happy, they threaten you with debt collectors.

Fantastic experience: Since about 2016 I have been going to Team Dental. During that time I have had hygiene work done by Thata, Ashley and Michelle de Thierry. All were great. Michelle explained the need for an electric brush, which I purchased shortly after. Thata showed me how the electricbrush was helping. They are patient and even better... as far as they could, they've tried to minimise the bite on the wallet. Thankyou ladies! Back soon.

Fantastic experience: I visited the hygienist at Team Dental Papanui today and was very impressed with the whole service. The receptionist was very welcoming on arrival and the waiting area was very warm and calm. During the appointment the hygienist was great- very friendly, gentle and knowledgeable, taking time to explain everything to me. Would highly recommend this service :)

Fantastic experience: I'm a very nervous patient and hadnf seen a dentist in 5 years. They made me feel really comfortable and made me smile. I felt even better after finding out I had no cavities and was doing a great job at preventing tartar.

Negative experience: Highly disappointed in the service I received this time I had used team dental from past 2years with no issues but this time around went in for a root canal and had a trainee assistant in two of my appointments out of a total of three .First appointment with her she took ages to find things.Root canal are as such quiet stressfull and she made it worst as I had to keep my mouth wide open for longer.This time it was my final sitting for root canal and it was just horrible.she dropped things,spray that was supposed to be in my mouth went all over my face ,couldn't find needle number 25 so left the room to find it elsewhere while the dentist cautioned her she had to be fast as the cement would set!!She couldn't make it fast enough hence dentist left the room to call her back!!!This wasn't enough,the cutting gas got finished twice and she left the room to arrange it!!!I was at my wit's end already but then to finish off the final X ray the dentist took didn't come through so I was called back while I was all ready to go to get the x-ray done another time!!!my 45 min appointment took 1.5 hr. this all was with my mouth wide open !!I understand staff needs to be trained but not at root canals and why Me twiceAlso trianee needs to be sure to find things and prep before the appointment time not during the appointment.I feel like I should be paid to be a guinea pig

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Dentist Thatta enough. I had two teeth extracted, a seal placed and a clean. I was extremely nervous about the extraction and she was so patient and kind throughout my visit. Very professional job too & I thought reasonable pricing.

Fantastic experience: Great service. I emailed letting them know I needed a filling and made an appointment. Jason knew what I was after, had a quick look and check if the price was ok before starting the procedure. He gave me an ove view of the procedure and talked me through every step during the procedure. He also gave my teeth a quick look over after and recommended I get a full check up with absolutely no pressure. I will definitely go here again.

She is really kind and takes an interest in you as a person as well as being a fantastic dentist !! Very competitive pricing. Highly recommend the entire team !!

Fantastic experience: A few years ago, I shifted and needed to change dentists, to one closer to home. I found Team Dental Papanui. My previous dentist (for over 20 years), who I understand is quite highly esteemed, needed to rebuild my problem tooth every 6-12 months! This went on for many years (costing me a small fortune). However, my new dentist Emma (at Team Dental Papanui), rebuilt this tooth for me a few years ago now. It has lasted! (I think she may have done something different … and better). I am delighted!!! Over the moon!!! Emma is patient, kind, very professionally skilled and empathetic, (even though she will never know how much I need that), and explains everything clearly to me and offers options, when appropriate. Emma, somehow makes me feel important and never rushed. (Even Emma’s way of doing injections are the best (least painful) I’ve ever experienced) I have had quite a bit of dental work done now by Emma and I must say, I could not recommend her high enough, to anyone! (And I have so raved to my friends about my new dentist!) I think her skill-set, is second to none. Recently Emma suggested I talk to their Oral Hygienist (Saba Khan). Which I duly did. Saba first, gave me a full Oral Hygiene treatment/cleanse, followed by a whitening treatment a week or two later. Like Emma, Saba explained everything in advance and progressively, through-out my treatments (very reassuring). Saba, checked-up on me regularly, that I was ok. I felt very cared-for and in professional hands. The results where/are amazing. In my almost 61 years, I’ve never before encountered an Oral Hygienist. This was a very encouraging experience. (Saba taught me a lot. Money well spent/invested) I’ll be back to see Saba in 18-24 months. I must add, even the reception staff are very engaging , friendly and helpful. Dentistry has played a rather “traumatic” role in my life (from a young child). And now after so many decades, I believe I have the best chance of over-coming this. My previous dentist was good, but Emma is great! As I mentioned, I am now feeling quite confident, that I will finally overcome this stupid childhood dilemma, because I have a growing trust and confidence in my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Emma is the kindest dentist I have ever met. Would recommend to anyone. 5 stars in every way. Not only cares about you but your pocket too! Love the team. You guys are amazing and I quite honestly wouldn't have bothered getting my teeth sorted if I hadn't come to you. Too many dentists make the idea terrifying and dreadful but I don't mind the thought anymore. Thank you all so so much xx

Fantastic experience: Saw Emma for a filling recently. I don't like injections and advised Emma of this. Emma was great! She used gel first to numb area and the injection didn't even hurt! Emma also explained every thing she was doing during the procedure which was great. Thanks. ☺

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Emma Ward for an extraction of a wisdom tooth and fillings and I have to say that she is a very awesome and kind dentist. Of course, the dental practice is not my favourite place to go, but Emma really makes you feel comfortable and explains everything so everyone can understand, Emma has a lot of patience und always comes up with different options. The receptionist and Emma's little helpers are very friendly, kind and understanding as well, I do feel good visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: Went to team Dental for the first time and an excellent experience with friendly, helpful staff and a dentist (Madison Chang) solved a problem the last dentist was going to charge $1000 for. Madison has an extremely down to earth and friendly style with patients Team Dental rates seem very competitive The usual aftermath of discomfort after a dental visit was absent and the repaired tooth feels and looks like all the others with no sharp or raised bits which is common with some dental work With me only about 1,000 weeks to live I think I will drop out before the tooth!
