Fantastic experience: Had a lovely check up, Grace went through everything in such a smooth manner all the way through the extraction (minor surgery). Together with her assistant (didn’t get her name, sorry), everything went well and they have such excellent work! Very happy with their help, will be back for more appointments

Fantastic experience: Got in quickly as an emergency. Its nevernice having to go to dentists but saw Dr. Fiona. She was Lovely , gentle and caring. Recommend!

Negative experience: I normally don't have any issues because I have been going here for years but my last appt was with Grace, she was quite rude and intimidating, I needed a filling but the only option she offered me was a root canal and/ or very expensive option, I turned her down. It wasn't until I went to leave, she offered me a cheaper option, which I was disappointed with. I felt my decision determined my treatment from her. Definitely won't be going back in a hurry.

Negative experience: I had a wire retainer installed here, these are meant to be fitted for life. One side broke off recently when I was eating nuts after less than 3yrs of having it on. This caused immense pain as it was constantly jabbing me in the tongue. I had to pay to get a dentist to refit it in Australia. They have refused to offer any reimbursement, despite the fact these are designed to be durable, permanent dental wires.

Fantastic experience: Friendly & welcoming staff, always a positive experience. Ken is a great clinician!

Positive experience: My daughter was seen today as had a sore tooth, turned out to be her gums. But she left very upset and felt that the lady was rude to her, I rang and she explained it all to me but was a shame that my daughter left crying.

Negative experience: Worked with Purobi Datta in October 2021. Was told I needed a bunch of work done. (Neglected to do work due to finances) Am told by current dentist I don’t need fillings or a dental hygienist clean unlike what Purobi said. (I have not had any work done since the checkup at this lumino). Edit: Have spoken to Jacob Grieve, and he said that the filling was in the grey area between getting a filling and not getting a filling. Forgot to add, immediately after the appointment in 2021 I was prompted/offered to book the next appointment for fillings and the clean. Appreciate the call to clarify. Have bumped rating from 1 star to 2 stars due to the call as it shows some people care.

Positive experience: Seen at exactly the time I made the appointment which was a plus! However I told the dentist and assistant that I was nervous and don’t feel like that was taken into consideration. I had to ask at times what was happening, and during the procedure the assistant and dentist were talking over me about upcoming wedding plans etc and I didn’t really feel like I was really there. Going to the dentist can be intimidating for some and please just remember patients can be vulnerable and scared and if you don’t explain what’s going on it can be impersonal.

Positive experience: Been going there for decades and different iterations of dentists

Negative experience: Definitely do not recommend. Very over-priced, and the treatment seemed extremely rushed. Definitely do not go if you are a student.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment yesterday at 3:30 and was seen at exactly that time which doesn't often happen these days ! My dental hygienist was friendly and answered the questions I had with detail. My teeth felt amazing and clean after my visit and will definitely be returning for my next check up in 6 months time :)

Fantastic experience: Just went here to get a couple of fillings redone and 2 wisdom teeth out. Lloyd is “the best dentist in the world”, which I apparently told him at least 3 times while I was still high on sedatives. He explained everything really nicely and I hardly remember any of the procedure and was certainly not in pain at any point, despite having bad jaw pain.

Fantastic experience: I always receive great service at Lumino's Pitt Street. No waiting times and easy to make a weekend appointment, which is unusual for a dentist. I had lost a filling over Christmas, and during my visit to get it fixed was made aware of what else might need attention. I received a detailed quote and explanations of how much it is going to cost me and what the best solution is for the issue is. The dentist really took the time to inform me on possible treatment and how I can improve my dental hygiene. Very pleasant team and always great service.

Fantastic experience: Feeling very satisfied with my experiences at Lumino. I have been seeing Sue (hygienist) for several years and she is always friendly and welcoming, while maintaining a very professional manner.. She always takes time to answer questions and that is always reassuring. I met Grace Kim the dentist only on my last visit to Lumino and was totally satisfied with the checkup and especially happy that she listened to my needs and offered advice. Will have no concerns about continuing here for as long as needed

Fantastic experience: Grace attended to me and she was wondeful..very gentle and kind..she is the only person i ever would want to see..she just seemed to realize how nervous i was.. Cannot praise her enough..thankyou Grace.

My bridge broke today, drove there from the holiday we are staying in and they were about to leave but saw me there and then, as they could see I needed help and cemented the bridge, until I get back to the UK. Thank you Christian and the lady on reception who assisted him
