Fantastic experience: 10 STARS! I have been a patient of Dentist on Glasgow since Peter Spark was practicing there! The transition to the new owners, approximately 12 years ago, was absolutely seamless. A period of time in Taranaki resulted in a different Dentist, Dr. Wendy Pittman at Eltham who did some very necessary extractions, with an immediate top plate dentures being fitted. What an incredible and gentle soul this woman is. Having returned home to Whanganui 4 years later, I contacted Dentist on Glasgow and was warmly welcomed home by Keryn and booked in. Tan and his lovely team of assistants, predominately, Mellissa and Casey, were just like my Eltham experience! Gentle, explanatory, detailed, without being above my head, and understanding to my physical inabilities to lie in the treatment chair. I was quoted to have all 9 remaining bottom teeth extracted due to a medical condition. We booked in for pre-Christmas to remove the 3 or 4 of the worst that indicated they would turn nasty over the holiday period. However, on arrival at the appointment, I asked if it was time possible to accommodate all 9 extractions today – which resulted in all the healing occurring at the one time. Over the next four months, I had check-ins for the healing, some were scheduled, and some were required for the pain or wee bits that surfaced as normal. I was always promptly booked and treated with kindness, gentleness, patience and left reassured. After a few tiny adjustments, I now have a full head of teeth and am able to eat again. I am truly grateful for both my experiences, with what can be a traumatic experience to endure, to have been treated so very, very well. I am confident that Dental school teach Dentists, Dental assistants, and clerical personal how to interact with dental patients! I highly recommend ALL of the team at Dentist on Glasgow, they all wear unseen angel wings.

Fantastic experience: I was a nervous wreck entering my appointment after a pretty shabby experience at another dental clinic. I needn’t have worried! I was treated with dignity, given simple explanations and left with an affordable action plan to get me back on track. I’m super grateful that my tooth was saved today (and at half the cost I was quoted at another place to extract it). Thank you for your amazing service!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Vasu Atluri since 2022. I came to know him as a very skilled specialist, always professional and able to attend to problems unresolved by others. Only two appointments (one to assess and one to treat) were needed.

Negative experience: Don’t go here. Quoted me $85 and then tried to charge me $170 at the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, my Dentist & nurse give the best care, and great are top professionals, the best Dentist I've had. They are as gentle as possible, it was so good last time I had 2 teeth built up I started falling asleep in the chair! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I love my new teeth! It was years since I had been able to eat properly, or since I had smiled properly, so what a difference now. And Vasu was so patient through the whole process, explaining everything, & checking that I understood - I've been happily recommending him to ask my friends, both in Whanganui, & further afield.

Negative experience: Really nice receptionist, hygienist and dental assistant. However, would highly recommend getting a second opinion if you do go here and aren’t happy with the advice. Unpleasant experience getting fillings from here. Edit - I note your response did not include anything about the unpleasant experience I had when receiving fillings here! I have found another dentist who’s opinion differed from yours so my opinion stands :)

Negative experience: Customer service appalling. They Cancelled appointmemt made based on a bill in their system under my name that's 15 years old. At the time I was at school and under 18 so there should be no bill....instead of looking into it I got rude attitude from the lady behind counter...I benefited though, after ringing around I got an appointment with one of the other dentists in town who also were all considerably cheaper in costs....

Positive experience: It has been great but I have missed 3 appointments over the coarse of a couple years and I’m no longer aloud to make appointments anymore which makes no sense. I don’t get how I’m supposed to go there and get a cavity in my mouth fixed if I can’t book and make appointments anymore. It doesn’t really make sense and is kinda dumb. I’m guessing I have to find a new dentist now.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. During level 4 Delta Lockdown I posted a recommendation on Facebook in need of a professional affordable dentist in Whanganui. The majority of votes were in favour of Dentists on Glasgow. I rung that afternoon and got an apt the following morning for an emergency extraction. I was greeted and welcomed by two friendly staff all dressed in full Ppe attire due to the pandemic. What an amazing team of caring professionals who were extremely helpful and very informative from the first initial phone call to the final aftercare. As a team they did everything possible to meet my urgency. I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure and would highly recommend for their professional skills competitive prices and overall service.

Fantastic experience: Been a happy patient of Dentists on Glasgow for 10 years now, always a friendly smiling team. First time I've NEVER been apprehensive about visiting a dentist, in fact most sittings for fillings (in my old tired teeth) I have never seen the need for a local anesthetic because of master dentist Vasu and his light painless touch, very skilled. I've been to many dentists over my 70 years and Dentists on Glasgow are a cut above them all.

Fantastic experience: Vasu Atluri has done some fairly major work on my teeth and I find him to be extremely thorough and conscientious. He always takes as much time as is necessary, even if it goes over the allocated appointment slot. The charges seem fair and reasonable for the time involved. All the staff at Dentist on Glasgow are very pleasant and friendly and they will try to fit you in as soon as possible if you need emergency work. I am very satisfied with the practice and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Appalling place. Totally misled by the receptionist into ability of the female dentists ability. Was given 1/2 hr appt when only 10 mins required. Only there for 10 mins and charged the full 1/2 hr. Exhorbitabt charges. On a previous visit the male dentist inserted a needle into the back of my mouth so badly i cried and went into shaking shock for several minutes. GW LC

Fantastic experience: Was told they were all booked out for a Friday but was told if something frees up they'll call me, which they did and the team were very professional. Had one wisdom tooth taken out and was surprised at how quick they were and how they broke down what they were going to do. Highly recommend them
