Positive experience: Great experience at Riverside Dental. Lovely staff with great knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Riverside Dental are an exceptional service. They offer far more than a basic service. When I had a tooth that was a problem for some time it was suggested I try Riverside. They worked carefully to fix the problem and my health has been much better since. They also offer advice on how to keep your teeth in the best possible shape. I'm very grateful to them for their excellent service and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal dentists. The care and friendliness is 10/10, and they are super-gentle. If you don't like going to the dentist, check this place out for sure

Fantastic experience: I am a happy patient of David's, and I can not recommend him strongly enough. He is a very gentle dentist, and a lovely man. So gentle in fact that ordinarily I ask him not to give me any anesthetic, because I don't need it when he is working. His repair work is exceptional, and nothing he has ever done has ever required any follow-up work. Thank you, David & Riverside!

Fantastic experience: I had never been to an Oral Health Therapist before Tayla about a year ago. Today was my third appointment with her and I'm always impressed with her professionalism and friendly attitude :)

Fantastic experience: The dental practice is very accommodating. My friend had an urgent tooth repair for holiday , they accomodate and fix it quickly.

Negative experience: This has nothing to do with the dentist, but I was taken advantage of. And I spoke to work & Income about this, and they agreed with me. I went to get a checkup and clean pretty standard things, but you don't need three cleans and a referral to see a specialist that I didn't need. The dentist who I won't name because I am not a mean person let her own opinion on how teeth to be looked after instead of just giving me the basic treatment. I only get $1000 per year for treatment and now that I need more work, I have no other funds to access. So, I now have to wait a whole year and a half until I get my entitlement again. I suppose the dentist saw this is easy money to make because it would be guaranteed by work and Income. Things are hard enough Riverside without you being greedy.

Fantastic experience: One of my fillings fell out last night, so i had to plan something quickly in the morning. The receptionist was lovely and booked me in within 30mins of calling. Sarah (Dentist) was clear and fast. Gave me the option of the local or just no local. This was the first time i have been offered that, and love not having a numb mouth after. Brilliant all round from all staff. They will be my new dentist. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: The staff have been super welcoming, making me feel very relaxed and at ease with what they were doing. Rooms were all very tidy and hygienic. Will definitely be going back 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at Riverside Dental last week. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the lovely receptionist Ashleigh. The reception area and rooms were very well presented. I was really impressed with how welcoming and professional Tayla was. She was extremely informative throughout with regards to what she was doing and the process. She also made me aware of what had happened to one of my teeth, which no one else has ever explained to me. Something that I would have thought was quite important and could have been rectified many years ago. I think she was aware that I was a bit anxious and asked me if that was the case. When I confirmed that I was she was so reassuring throughout. I felt that I was in very capable hands throughout my appointment. Tayla has a very caring and empathetic manner, that was quite clearly genuine. Tayla and Sarah, her assistant, are an awesome team and worked together effortlessly. I will definitely be returning to Riverside Dental and will be recommending Riverside Dental to my family, friends and work colleagues.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental hygiene clean at Riverside Dental. The team are extremely friendly, professional and welcoming. This was my first hygiene clean and Tayla walked me through each step to put my mind at ease. They were happy to answer any questions I had throughout the clean. The clinic itself is extremely clean. Fantastic experience: This was my first ever time getting a proper clean from a dental hygienist so I was a bit nervous but Tayla made the whole experience really easy! She was able to clean around my braces too. Afterwards my teeth felt so smooth and clean and even look whiter. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be going back to see Tayla again!

Fantastic experience: I saw Tayla, the Oral Health Therapist, for my first hygiene appointment. She was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight away! Fantastic experience: I recently visited the clinic for an appointment with Tayla. The booking process was easy from the start. When I arrived at the clinic, it was clean and tidy and the reception staff were friendly. Tayla was very professional and had a pleasant demeanour. She explained what she was doing and why in great detail. Overall an enjoyable experience (which you can't always say about the dentist... ha ha) and I would highly recommend Riverside Dental!

Positive experience: Had a really good experience here with my teenager. The team were really friendly and welcoming and definitely helped him get over his nerves. I booked myself in to attend a few weeks later but I got a call saying the dentist I was seeing wasn’t available and the receptionist hung up before I could rebook! Not ideal as I was booked in for a check-up on a tooth that is very painful. Will still bring out teen here; but have since gone elsewhere myself.

Fantastic experience: Dr David Rowley and the team at Riverside Dental are outstanding. I have been a patient there for many years and I highly recommend them. They are compassionate and go above and beyond to take comprehensive care of their patients every time.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Michael Shand at Riverside Dental for many, many years and have found him to be the best dentist I ever had! Early this year I reached a stage of having to have all of my remaining teeth removed and to be fitted with full dentures top and bottom. As you can imagine, I was dreading it - especially since my long term, wonderful dentist had retired! However, my fears were unfounded, as I was looked after by Dr David Rowley. He removed all of my remaining teeth. I felt no pain at all and was looked after in the most professional, relaxed and friendly way. Then David referred me to an excellent company to make my new dentures. The whole experience, although I was petrified just thinking about it, went so smoothly and hassle free. I totally recommend Riverside Dental, Dr David Rowley and his Team to anyone looking for excellent dental services in Christchurch. Many thanks David!! ‍♀️
