Fantastic experience: Have seen Judy 3 times. 1 week ago most recent visit. She is efficient, trustworthy, knowledgeable. She does a great job and I have never felt like I'm being ripped off. She is honest. Would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: I've waited almost 3 years before writing this review, but it's important. in August 2022, I saw a young women dentist (Judy possibly?). I grind/clench my teeth and this dentist made the comment "If money were no object, I'd recommend crowning all your teeth". At a guess I'd estimate this would cost $15,000-20,000. I'm fairly young, I've never had any symptoms from my teeth grinding & I wear a bite guard every night to protect my teeth. 2 years later, I got a 2nd opinion from a dentist in Newmarket, and she was appalled with this recommendation & said that crowning all my teeth would be close to medical malpractice. Crowning all of my teeth would have set me up for a life time of financially crippling dental treatment, because crowns require periodic replacement. Also crowned living teeth have a 33% of needing a root canal treatment within 10 years! My 2nd negative experience at this clinic occurred in June 2023. I saw a middle aged Asian male dentist (50-60 years old perhaps). The dentist noticed 2 areas of arrested/static tooth decay (non-cavitated & limited only to the enamel). This is a type of tooth decay that is not active/progressing. He recommended getting both cavities drilled & filled. He gave me ZERO advice or education on how to brush this area properly to prevent decay. I went home and educated myself online, and carefully improved/dialed-in my brushing technique. 2 years later and the arrested decay in these 2 areas has NOT progressed at all. in-fact one of the areas has gotten smaller & remineralised. It's unacceptable he jumped straight to unnecessary invasive procedures. also, my new dentist in Newmarket confirmed that these 2 areas of arrested decay didn't need to be drilled and filled. It's experiences like these, that explain why many people don't trust dentists. my advice to patients who go to this clinic, is to consider getting a 2nd opinion from a different clinic, if the dentists here recommend invasive procedures.

Fantastic experience: Not a fancy clinic but friendly and well priced. The dentist gave great advice for looking after my teeth. They also do Saturday appointments which is handy.

Negative experience: A dissapointing experience go elsewhere!! Very shady practices done at this dentist. Paid for a grab one cleaning and xray- did not receive xray cause "not needed" uhh.. then was told I needed gum treatment which I paid $500 for 2x 1hr sessions. one time I was 15min late and was refused admittance but when the appt came about it only took 30min and so I could have had the appointment and had 15min to spare as well while being late. The "gum treatment" was a more comprehensive clean but didnt do much for me, I floss twice a day and he keeps going on about me needing to floss and I'm like okay. Ontop of this I was quoted for 2 extractions $600 then when I went in to get it done (after having already paid for them) he says that we only need to do fillings. I wanted extractions so don't have to continously deal with these teeth but he refused and I await a refund. He also added on $95 for a consult even though there was never any consult done except on the day of the grabone voucher use. Not only am I now down the money but also down the most valuable resource, time. Additionally on my second appt I was 15min late again knowing it only took 30min for the treatment and was refused again, I demanded to be seen and with persistence, I was, and yes, it took 35min and I had 10min to spare after my appointment. I don't notice any change in my teeth after coming here but I do see a change in my bank balance, I would recommend going to somewhere else and if quoted from here and not sore, don't bother paying for additional treatment. I'm appalled.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I got the grabone voucher so the scale and polish was only $69! The receptionist was very kind and the dentist was very gentle and explained what my teeth needed while giving my teeth a very thorough clean. Very happy !

Fantastic experience: best ever

Negative experience: Disappointed got a filling. And now it is painful 2 weeks after and have to wait to get a book to have it fixed. Not happy and would suggest other dentist.

Fantastic experience: Judy was lovely and was able to do a filling at the same time as my appointment so I didn’t have to come back (I was just booked for a check up and a clean). I was a bit nervous about my appointment but she really put me at ease and I didn't feel any pain throughout the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to leave a review to highlight how well Judy interacts with her patients. I have gone for two appointments so far and both times been treated with respect, given advice without it feeling like its all my fault, was shown how to improve my techniques based on the layout of my teeth and show genuine empathy. I have switched dentists over the years because I have always felt ashamed when leaving clinic. This is a clinic I will be sticking with! Thank you so much Mt Eden Team.

Negative experience: I'm not the kind of person who usually writes reviews but I feel that this needs to be said. I came here about a year ago because I had a grabone voucher for a dental exam, two x-rays, and a scale & polish. I love the dentist and had never had a negative experience at one until this one (I've had several cavities filled and my wisdom teeth out over the years). The work done by the dentist was extremely painful. He also tried to convince me that I had a cavity that needed to be filled immediately. When the dentist was showing me the x-ray as "proof," something just didn't feel quite right so I told him I'd schedule another appointment to have my cavity filled. I had no intention of scheduling an appointment there and decided to wait and see if my tooth ever started to bother me. Fast forward a year later and I've just seen a different dentist (at a completely different practice), and my teeth are 100% fine. There is no cavity. Cavities don't just go away on their own, they get worse. So, either the dentist at Mt Eden Road Dental Centre lied to me and tried to scam me into an unnecessary medical procedure or he misread the x-ray. Either way, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had cleanup done followed by 2 fillings. Everything went well. Had no pain or complications. Very friendly, professional dentist and staff. Reasonable price as well.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service! I checked Google reviews before choosing this Dental Centre and I wasn't disappointed at all. Dr. Judy Yeh is an excellent dentist and receptionist/assistant was great as well. I will definitely go back to use their services again. Thanks for everything.
