Fantastic experience: The Bays Dental team are all so wonderfully welcoming and friendly. They provide exceptional service and are willing to adapt to make dental care more accessible to their customers. For example, I have sensitive teeth and they have provided me with some different options to make the hygiene clean more comfortable for me. They also have different payment options to help with financing dental care. In addition, they have been able to help me in a timely manner when one of my fillings fell out and I found it really lovely to receive a follow up call from them about a week later to check that the new filling was fine. I highly rate and recommend Bays Dental for all of these reasons.

Fantastic experience: Years on and I still continue to schedule appointments. All the way from Waiheke even. Booking appointments can seem to be an issue for the distance but the receptionist are willing to make it work and provided alternatives ie back to back appointments. Always welcomed through the door and years on; the services has always been thorough and reliable, which I continue to advocate to anyone that needs the treatment. Well done Bays Dental! I had my braces applied 12 months ago and achieved great results in a good time and on track to achieving a great smile to where I never thought was possible. They are an amazing dental practice. The staff are all warm and welcoming, make you feel calm and at ease as soon as you enter their practice. Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Bays Dental. From the moment you walk in the team are friendly and welcoming. I see Dr Lance and I couldn't ask for a better dentist. I live almost two hours away and I will travel to Auckland just to see him (and if he wasn't available I'd see any of the team because the person who referred me to Lance had great things to say about all of them.) I have severe anxiety around dentistry (to the point of panic attacks in some situations) and I've never encountered a more patient, gentle dentist. I plan on continuing to visit Bays Dental for as long as they will have me. After three appointments the anxiety I feel for a visit to a dentist is already significantly reduced.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lance is the 'Michaelangelo' of teeth, sculpting my teeth beautifully with such precision. His attention to detail is impeccable and he exudes a gentle soul which is very calming. The whole practice oozes with a family friendly ambience. Estella, Danielle and Nour have all been so lovely too along with the staff on the desk. The calming nature scenes on the walls make for a relaxing experience.

Fantastic experience: I needed some extractions done for orthodontic treatment and I had them done here with Dr Inah and I couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish. Dr Inah was incredibly lovely to have as a dentist; she was very nice and friendly, as well as gentle. By far the best dentist I have ever had! Estella at reception was also lovely to deal with and was incredibly patient with me when I couldn't really talk due to the anesthetic. 10/10 experience and will be returning here for all my future dental needs!

They are professional, genuine, caring and affordable, from reception to the dental team. I've seen both Lance and Nour and do not have a single negative thing to say about them. Lance makes sure to take time to ask to interact and engage with you and check what you want/need, and Nour is gentle, efficient, kind and attentive. I genuinely trust that they want what is best for you. Fantastic experience: I didn't get to attend my appointment due to the flooding in Auckland, so it is through no fault of the practice. The receptionists that I interacted with - Jess and Stella - were so lovely, and they did all they could to accommodate me. I highly recommend this practice, and my partner has been to them before for dental cleaning, and said they are great. Thank you for being so kind!

Negative experience: Last week, I was in horrible pain but luckily could manage to book an appointment quite quickly. Consultation was $129 and got an estimated treatment plan cost about $2,000 total with fillings and root canal. Got prescriptions for antibiotics and pain relief and I was booked in middle of March, which was more than a month away. It was fine as the the Dr. said after the antibiotics I won't be in pain. Finished the antibiotics but it was still a bit painful. Asked Dr. via text more antibiotics as it's a long time to wait with the pain, but no answer and apparently he was in overseas which was fair enough. So I called the reception and asked, the receptionist said not sure about it and they had only 2 dentists and she needed to ask her manager. 3 days passed, she didn't call me back. Emailed and requested the cancelation, of course no answer either. Not gonna surprise me if they contact me and say I didn't cancel my appointment early enough close to the appointment. I already got another consultation and root canal from somewhere else and it costed me $650 less than this place.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lance Mundy is a star dentist in our books. My husband and I are both very fortunate to have him look after our dental health. He is considerate and conscientious, always going the extra mile to make sure that we are well informed and comfortable with any treatment or decision taken. Fantastic experience: I have all my 6 teeth extracted by Dr Lance. I know getting your tooth out from your jaw bone is scary, don't worry, you will be in good hands with Dr Lance. Every time, I have the best treatment experience with him. He is such a gentle and kind soul to ensure his patient is comfortable during the treatment process. Furthermore, he is a very meticulous person to make sure everything is in order and perfect. I live in South Auckland, due to the complexity of my case, I have to travel to Bays Dental quite often. I used to think that it will be a huge burden for me to travel from South to North back-and-forth for my dental appointments. However, distance is not a problem for me now because I look forward to having my dental treatments at Bays Dental. In short, I highly recommend Dr Lance to anyone who is needing tooth extraction or other dental treatments. Not forget to mention that everyone working in Bays Dental is friendly and the practice's interior design is outstanding too! Makes you feel at home.

Negative experience: Exorbitant fees for mediocre results. The dentist didn't clean the tooth properly before filling it so the tooth continued to decay from inside and eventually led to an abscess, which was only discovered by my new dentist at a different clinic. Don't let their smile fool you. It sure did leave a good first impression that she appeared to be nice, caring and professional, but the result speaks otherwise. Someone else left a review about how they only care about $$$ and have cheap dental techniques. I initially ignored that review because there were more positive ones, but I regret having ignored it.

First Now... 1) Thanks to Lance for his exceptional skills, kindness and being honest. 2) Thanks to very kind lady who was assisting during the process. She was very good. 3) This clinic has very good and very modern tools, boring machines, suction nozzles, dental glasses, UV-hardening gun, etc. 4) The last, but the very important - price. It was twice lower that in nearby clinic in sunnynook near countdown where I did teeth check too (and that was a horror-show, but this is another story...) 5) Nice building look. Both exterior and interior. I like it. Nice big and sharp TVs. Both in the hall and in the treatment room's ceilings. Good ambient. I will come back to Bays Dental in case if I need from now on. I will recommend this clinic to all my friends. Wish all the best to this business and its team. "People are treasure of a company" and your people proven it.

Negative experience: Terrible. I originally had a scheduled for appointment, but they sent me an email before one day about the dentist is sick. so I delayed my appointment to the next week. It was alright. but that day in the morning I went to there from City. I tried to arrive at there early. but I got a traffic jam and I took wrong bus so I called and told them my situation what I had and I called a Uber so I would arrive within a few minutes. but they said “No. You have to make a new plan.” but I already delayed that couple weeks because of their problem, so I cannot delay see a dentist anymore. After I arrived at there. I asked just checking my teeth even though I cannot treat my teeth that day, because I got really bad problems. But she who works at the front just said “No” “it’s already gone” even not trying to ask dentist or the other doctors. I cannot understand how unkind you guys, probably at least 40 minutes have been reserved for me. but why can’t I even have a few minutes for just checking? It’s okay to change a plan from your problems, A patient’s problem isn’t okay?

Fantastic experience: I visited Bays Dental this morning to have my back tooth checked. My filling has come out and it was extremely uncomfortable. I was very impressed with Dr. Inah. She was professional yet very caring and concerned about my oral health. I was also very impressed at the methodology used to take xrays of my teeth...high standard of technology! I will be returning on Tuesday for my filling to be carried out.

Elizabeth and the other staff members are always welcoming. The Oral health therapist, Danielle, is very lovely and Dr Inah is the best dentist I have ever had. Fantastic experience: It's been two months since I came to New Zealand. Everywhere I go, I have a little fear. Furthermore, going to the dentist was a bigger burden for me. But it was a needless worry. Dr. Inah treated me kindly and explained treatment in detail through the monitor. The treatment was given at a reasonable price without excessive treatment. Personally, It was a more pleasant experience for me than going to the Pak N Save!!

Before the appointment I was feeling a bit apprehensive as it had been awhile since I'd been to the dentist and I was worried about being 'told off' for something to do with my oral health, as this has happened to me in the past. This did not happen at all. Dr. Inah was very friendly and made me feel like I was in capable hands. Despite being a very busy dentist, she took the time to sit down with me to discuss my treatment plan. I left feeling well informed and with my faith restored in dentists. I now feel like I can go to a dentist without the anxiety and uncomfortableness that usually preceded my check ups. I would recommend Dr. Inah and the rest of the team at Bays Dental to anyone!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Bays Dental has been fantastic from the get go. The reception team are friendly and helpful, their Hygienist is fantastic and gave me heaps of practical tips for caring for my gums, and Dr Inah is the most caring and considerate dentist I have ever visited. She has been upfront and clear on procedures and pricing before any treatment, including offering different options and solutions. She has walked me through procedures and has taken the time to explain what's happening. And to top it off their facilities are amazing - I love the forests on the walls and the tv's on the ceilings! I would recommend the team to all my friends and family :)

Negative experience: Please do not visit Dr.Young Kim. He lacks communication skills and empathy with patients and seem very money driven rather than for the care of the patient. You can barely catch him with gloves on during treatment and rushes everything for more patients to fit in during the day ultimately for more $$!! Honestly, cheap dentistry techniques and poor results despite having got treatment for five years. Please research about this place before wasting your money. I have ultimately got more problems from poor orthodontic treatment such as teeth grinding, fractured tooth and higher risk of caries due to increased gap between teeth. DO NOT EVER RECEIVE TREATMENT HERE. The other reviews are fake made by staff memebers!

Fantastic experience: Dr Inah Mundy is the best dentist I've ever had.She has the brightest smile.She's caring and has superior skills .You can expect the least pain and the most oral health. She always explains her treatment patiently and in much details. I had orthodontics treatment last year when I was 38.It just took 14 months to complete. The price is reasonable and the result is perfect. I've already recommend three friends to register in her clinic for Orthodontics!They're all in their 40‘s!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am a picky person and shop around, even for medical issues till I find satisfactory treatments and services. And by far, bays dental ticks all my boxes in most outstanding way. All 3 doctors, the father (Young, Korean), daughter(Inah, Korean-kiwi) and son in law (Lance, Kiwi) are always going the extra miles to explain you what’s going on, what they’ll do about it and the consequences around it, honest and upfront with the problems and solutions. As I moved house to down south - Weymouth - I was trying to find a new dentist around but after few attempts, decided to go back to them despite it’s almost an hour drive without traffic, and am happy to do that so I can leave my dental problem with the best hands. I therefore always refer my family and friend for this dental clinic, they also have reasonable price point where I don’t find it expensive compare to other dentists. Highly, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: What can I say amazing in all facets . The dentist was amazing, the hygienists, the receptionists are all so welcoming and comforting . I used to have a fear of going to the dentists as am sure many do but these guys really do change your perspective. Always squeezing me in at short notice , always so patient and understanding. Fantastic experience: Just visited this dentist for advice on treatment and options as i had been given so many different stories from other places. Dr Kim was honest and friendly. There was no pressure to proceed with any unnecessary costly treatments (as suggested by previous dentists) Staff were helpful and friendly too. Fantastic experience: I have been with Bays Dental for seven years and have never had anything to complain about. I have had my braces done with them, hygienist appointments and consultations about wisdom teeth. They are extremely friendly and always give plenty of explanation of what is happening with my teeth and what I can do to keep my teeth in better condition.

I have always found the entire staff at Bays dental to be always very kind, patent and dedicated to do their very best for you. I previously put up with a number of badly chipped teeth simply because no other dentist seemed to be willing to fix them. Dr Kim however was able to repair these very quickly with lasting results at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Kim for around 8 years, he is just fabulous. Great service, great treatment and at a very competitive price. I now also use the services of their lovely dental hygenist Melody. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Young Kim has been our dentist for about 20 years and I've always been very happy with his work. He is very experienced and careful, having worked for many years in Korea before moving to NZ. I first went to Dr Kim about 20 years ago. He immediately noticed that a deep filling I'd had done in Australia a year earlier had not been done perfectly and was protruding slightly on one side, causing problems. He removed and redid the filling and I have never had trouble with that tooth again. He performed a root canal about 9 years ago and that has been fine ever since. He has a gentle manner and knows exactly what he's doing.

Fantastic experience: I actually look forward to my appointments! Can there be a better recommendation for a dental practice? Don't think so. But if you need more how about the personal attention, going "the extra mile" for clients, the ease of bookings (hate phoning so the online system is great!) and the attention to detail and great referral to excellent specialist. I happily refer people to Lance and Inah. Reception staff are super and Melody is my go-to hygienist. Dont' go past Bays Dental.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Inah Mundy for 2 years now as she has treated me for braces and other necessary treatment and I couldn't be happier with my decision to be with Bays Dental. Always such a warm welcome from Lisa and the girls on the front desk, the assistants are lovely and chatty. I feel totally comfortable with the team at Bays Dental and also love the décor of the clinic. My results are better than I ever expected and I feel completely at ease discussing any concerns I may have. Definitely recommend Bays Dental!

Staff were very polite and caring towards customers which I found pleasing after experiencing another place that looked at profiting off their customers. Highly recommend anyone to this dental place. FYI: University students get discounts which I found promising as nothing was hidden from the customer!
