Fantastic experience: The customer service at this dentist is top notch, Gaurav Taneja took my wisdom tooth out today and did an amazing job. He made sure I was comfortable and explained everything in detail. I 100% recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot express how grateful I am for Dr Anastasia and her team for their excellent service and care done on my teeth!. They’ve literally saved me from months of excruciating pain and discomfort. From the receptionist to the assistants and Dr Anastasia, their services are spectacular. I’ve had an extraction, a few fillings and gum cleaning by Dr Anastasia and her assistant and it was all a success. They create a safe and inviting environment for their clients by talking them through it, playing calming music to alleviate stress and always gives reassurance and great advice on how to care for your teeth moving forward. I look forward to seeing the team again next year for another checkup.

My trauma with dentists at a young age created a fear of going near one since. Since meeting these beautiful ladies they put my nerves at ease at every appointment, explaining every step, ensuring I am comfortable and giving amazing advice for aftercare for the long run. Not only do they provide top services they also worked with me and my hectic schedule! We have already recommended Mahu Dentist to our family and friends! Fantastic experience: I would 110 percent recommend Mahu Dental Otahuhu. My experience with dentists have been horrible but Mahu Dental Otahuhu has exceeded my expectation. I needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and from the initial phone call till the end of my appointment the team at Mahu Dental Otahuhu were so accommodating, so friendly and very professional. Dr Anastasia was an absolute gem when explaining the procedure, during the extraction and even once it was all done. She was quick and made me feel so comfortable even when my anxiety was sky rocketing. It hasn't even been 24 hrs let alone 12 hrs, the anesthesia has worn off, the bleeding has stopped, my mouth has minor pain and it isn't as sore as my last wisdom extraction at another facility. I'm so happy to have been referred to this place as I have dodged the dentists like the plague and I've already got myself booked in for another appointment to slowly start working on the years of damage I've done to my teeth due to mental health issues, poor oral hygiene and bad experiences going to other dentists. Thank you Mahu Dental Otahuhu for the amount of care and professionalism shown to me for my very first visit. See you at my next appointment :)

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed their services and I think I will keep going to them for dental care. They're affordable and have payment options as well. The staff are very patient, friendly, understanding and knowledgable. Things are explained really clearly to you. I went to a different dental clinic in East-Central Auckland prior to coming to Mahu to get a quote. When I shared with Mahu Dental what the previous clinic mentioned, they explained to me what was truthful, realistic and affordable in comparison to the other clinic. You're not left in the dark when you come here. They do the best they can to give you the best treatment they can. They're not in it for the money. I highly recommend!

I found that Mahu Dental staff were very friendly, compassionate, professional and informative about the whole process. Fantastic experience: I’m giving 5 stars , my experience today was amazing. The dentist lady who cleaned my gums and explained Whats & why’s was kind , funny! My gum treatment wasn’t painful all though it was ticklish for me through out it lol . I had to remove my piercings so they could get a scan and after my appointment was done I lost my piercings and they helped me looked for it so kind and thoughtful thank you so much for my treatment and help! Negative experience: The services provided by Mahu dental is terrible, shocking, unprofessional and unethical as my mom is an elderly lady over 80 yrs old had her dentures made here by dentist Gaurav . She made numerous complaints regarding this issue but she was sent home with minor adjustments on the dentures. However the the problems still persists it still does not fit her mouth as she cannot even wear it and she has been starving for months now just surviving on soups as she loves her solid food and wants to eat solid food which she can not eat and she gets sick and dizzy as she is quite fragile when she doesn’t trace a good diet, and then she has to pay a visit to her GP for a health check up. How fair is this? The dentist taking $3500 and promised to give her a full functional denture and he hasn’t delivered the services as yet and my mom is the one who is suffering and surviving on soups. When complained today the dentist falsely defamed my character . I called and tried to speak with his female staff and she was initially talking on top of me and didn’t want to hear any complaint despite telling her this is an emergency as it’s having an impact on my moms health as I am calling on behalf of my elderly mom as moms issue hasn’t been resolved and pls kindly refund my moms money in the amount of $3500 so she can take the money and visit and other dentist who ca. help and support her into getting a full functional one so she can eat solid food again as we don’t want her to starve. To hide his wrong doing the doctor went to extreme lengths and lied to my mom that I swore to his staff and not once did I ever swear to anyone. Wow defaming my character shocking that he can go to extreme length such a dishonest person . I am a professional individual and I work for the govt so I am a public servant myself and I am always professional in my conduct with everyone that I engage with. The dentists behaviour here is so unethical, unprofessional and manipulative. He is trying to cover up his mistake by defaming my character which is so wrong and unprofessional, shocking behaviour. Just refund my mom the money in the amount of $3500, as minor adjustments the dentist does each time doesn’t work.

Fantastic experience: From the 1st phone referral, to entry and extraction and exit....the staff have been very kind and courteous. I was in a lot of pain and after 24hrs of trying to be a hero....extraction was my only solution. However the staff offered an alternative to try and save the tooth. option B..."thank you" but I had made up my mind. Every step of the way I was informed and the staff was very understanding especially when English is not your 1st language. I highly recommend this amazing team at Mahu Dental Otahuhu for their awesome service and great customer support. I'm definitely going back for other dental work required...polish and clean.
