Fantastic experience: Rupert removed my wisdom teeth, I felt safe the entire time and sedation was comfortable. Everything was explained well to me. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic experience: I used onedental for the first time this week. I had one of my front teeth (filling) fall out on Tuesday and it was super uncomfortable. I thought it would take weeks before I could get in for an appointment, but showmein (hope that’s spelled right) said no! She booked me in on Justin’s day off and my tooth was back by the end of the week. Justin was so gentle, to the point I could have probably fallen asleep during the procedure. Nothing but praise for onedental!!!

I was so happy with my experience here all the staff were lovely but also caring , i got an appointment and treatment the same day the dentist who seen me was great very informative and very gentle had the most pleasent dental experience ever with Moer at stoke one dental. It was nice to go somewhere and to walk away feeling at ease and looked after.

Negative experience: managed to find their final debt notice, before seeing debt collectors, in the WRONG email under the WRONG name, about fees that WERE NOT communicated on the call before appointment. sloppy and shady tactics, 130$ for a winz quote is ridiculous, none of which was mentioned on call. bit the bullet and paid the 70$ at the door thinking that was it, only to be charged 60$ more later on, by sending emails to the wrong email, not that it matters that much, since the emails were getting sent to spam, clearly the business is in bad standing. edit: and now to see they did have the right email ON FILE afterall, because I just received their first message in the CORRECT email. pathetic

Fantastic experience: Had tormenting pain I couldn’t pin down — One Dental team booked me promptly in for a look-sie, Magic Mat figured it out fast, and dealt with a cracked molar and a partial root canal on the spot. Calm, clear, and genuinely empathetic when I was in pain. No delays, no fuss — just great care from Mat and the team who knows exactly what they’re doing. To anyone dealing with tooth pain: I feel for you, its the worst — you're in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: I had surgical wisdom extraction at One Dental in Stoke and they were amazing. The service is impeccable. I later developed a complication and infection and the team in Mapua were so prompt in helping me. I couldn’t have had a more positive dental experience and in feeling so well looked after.

Fantastic experience: I went to one dental stoke because of my wisdom tooth and it needs to be extracted.Such a friendly environment specially Emma at reception and they have tried their best to help me. Mat is a wonderful dentist and he did a great Job . I think he has a great knowledge and he is fabulous. Will recommend to everyone. They are best in Nelson . Regret I was not able to go back to them as I am working in town and find it easy to go back to my old dentist in the town . But one dental stoke are offering a lot more services and options . Fantastic experience: Made a long overdue visit to the dentist this week for some major repairs. Was absolutely terrified and dreading it BUT turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about thanks to the wonderful team at One Dental. Everyone was so caring and considerate throughout a lengthy and full on procedure…never felt a thing.From start to finish it was by far the best and least stressful dental experience I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: To Meor Ishak A massive thank you is in order ! I came into one dental with not only a very painful tooth but worst of all a massive fear of the dentist . After already seeing another one of your colleagues and not being able to overcome my fear ( also a massive thankyou to her for trying her utmost) I came into get more painkillers till I was able to be sedated to get tooth pull . You were able to fit me in to have a second look at what could be done . Somehow you were able to keep me calm and reassured me that this extraction was no problem and within 15 ish minutes my tooth was removed and I was on my way . Thank you so much Sincerely Stephen Robertson Anyone who has similar fears , I cannot recommend One dental enough . Their care and consideration of people across the board (fears or no fears) is of the highest standard . The next time I need to go and see them I already feel a lot better and more positive of the situation. I cannot thank all the staff enough !

Fantastic experience: I have just switched to One Dental. It seems counter intuitive to complement a dentist given the usual anxiety associated with dental work, but these guys are outstanding. Dental work is costly but I don't mind parting with the moolah when the teeth problems are fixed '(painlessly!) and they explain clearly what they have done. Importantly, it seems like a dental health & maintenance programme. Not just turning up to fix painful problems. I'll be back!

They made me feel very comfortable and not anxious at all, gave me the option of sedation which made the experience almost pleasant.

Negative experience: Such a rip off. The ussual hygienic appointment which suppose to last half 30 min, only took me 15min. Mentioned to it to receptionist and she only took $25 off from $165 bill. My appointment was the half time and i only reseived 15% competition. Dentist did not talked to me about the health of my teeth, so I have no idea at what condition are my teeth...

Fantastic experience: I’ve got pretty engrained fear of dentists from the early-90’s Wellington Dental clinic experiences… so I was very apprehensive to seek dental treatment but I had no reason to be worried or scared. Justin and team are hands down the most caring professionals who made me feel so comfortable that I ended up having a really relaxed 1 hour time out - it was great! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going and seeing Justin at One Dental! Really professional and such a friendly guy. I recently got a filling done and have had the same tooth filled twice before at other practices. Justin explained the process and gave me multiple options. I went with his recommendation which was actually cheaper. He did an amazing job, it looks like a brand new tooth! Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience at one dental today. Justin and his team are true professionals. I was quite nervous before going in but that quickly disappeared and I soon felt at ease. Thank so much guys.

Negative experience: Went for a check up which was reasonably priced and following this was recommended two procedures to fix teeth sensitivity in rear molars (due to acid damage). Cheap option quoted at c. $5k and second option quoted at c. $13k - both involved reprogramming my jaw. Received two additional opinions from other dentists who both said issue could be fixed for $300-400 and that the proposed solution by OneDental was completely over the top and that my jaw did not need reprogramming. I add that during this process OneDental took a mould of my teeth and then lost it so I had to go back in and get another done. Edit: As raised in their response, there was a third option to do nothing at all but the issue was causing me enough discomfort that I sought some kind of intervention. The two options proposed by OneDental both involved crowning several of my teeth whereas other dentists thought this wasn't necessary. Copies of quotes attached, there is no $180-$220 option in the email I was sent..

Fantastic experience: Honestly i could not recommend this dental practice more! Been over 6 years since I've been to a dentist. I rang up to cancel an appointment because I always worry about going in and i talk myself out of going every time, but I was heard and felt so safe just over the phone so I never canceled my appointment and Im so happy I actually did it. Such a beautiful place with the most kind and caring people working there. They took time to listen to my worries and never once made me feel silly. If you are like me and you have put off the dentist for ages go see these amazing people!!

Beginning with calling me Zoe, not taking any interest in my past patient notes I'd gone to huge effort to collect for him, and rushing through my appointment by prematurely opening the door for me to leave while I will still telling him my worries. $140 later I would expect so much more!!! What if I had something personal or embarrassing to tell him regarding my teeth care? I wouldn't feel comfortable disclosing this to him! Please please work on your patient relationship, this is so important for holistic care. Will never come back here! (The receptionist was absolutely lovely - the ⭐ is for you!)

Fantastic experience: I attend a lot of dental appointments alongside young people throughout the Nelson/Tasman region and I am constantly blown away by the amazing service that the whole team at Stoke One Dental provides. The dentists and their assistants go above and beyond for every young person they see, ensuring that they are given the best treatment and care. For so many young people going to the dentist can cause so many anxieties, however the team at one dental do everything they can to calm any nerves and to educate them about how they can continue to look after their own oral health. I would highly recommend all of the dentists at Stoke One Dental.

Negative experience: I went there early December for a checkup/cleaning. I ended up with a VERY expensive bill. More than twice of what was paid by my partner in Nelson for the SAME service. My fault, I should have done my research. When I called them to ask why there was such a big difference in price, they said that they "considered their service excellent". In my opinion, the service was "good", but similar to most dentists. Not a reason to charge so much I believe. I was quoted for 2 fillings, and then when I found out I decided to go in Nelson, and they did the same work for $100 cheaper. And very happy with it... I have both quotes that can prove it.
