Fantastic experience: After many years of dental phobia and several panic attacks, I nearly feel asleep in the chair yesterday! Matt is highly skilled and he numbs everything so well you don’t even feel the needle go in. The procedure was a root canal — not for the faint-hearted — and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: I was a really anguish scared customer. It took a lot just to make an appointment and I’m an adult. A friend of mine promoted the team said they would make it a safe place without judgement. Well congrats team you did that for me. I’ve been a few times now with adjustments to my teeth. I’m happy and crazy as it sounds happy to keep going back if I need.

It was Kim who diagnosed an underlying problem affecting my teeth originally and her care and professionalism are top notch my teeth are highly sensitive and require local anesthetic most visits. Matt always gives options and costs if there is a problem before any decisions are made and the work he does always holds well.

Fantastic experience: I can not express how truly grateful I am to have received such awesome service from Matt and his team at Tikipunga Dental. I was extremely nervous and had a real fear of any sort of dental treatment. I literally had to have a family member sit in the room to make sure i wouldnt back out during consultations. I opted for sedation and am super glad I did. Matt and his team were very empathetic, non judgemental and super honest. Also, after "shopping around" for quotes, there's was the best price in town. Negative experience: Beyond poor. Said they were prepared to deal with a needle phobia. Turns out they don't know what one is. Charged me 150 for 1 x Ray. Didn't tell me anything about what was going on in my mouth. Backed against a wall while I was panicking, and told me he was to afraid to help me. Apparently referred me to the hospital but I've seen no evidence of that that either. Honestly disgusted.

Fantastic experience: I came to Tikipunga Dental Centre based on a recommendation and I was not disappointed. Having one’s teeth removed is a daunting proposition. From the first visit, Dr Ross listened carefully to my concerns and answered all my questions. This was supplemented with adequate documentation so I knew what to expect and what was expected of me. The procedure was well performed and painless (with IV sedation). After two weeks, I am eating (almost) normally and, best of all, I have regained confidence in my smile. Thank you so much to the Team for seeing me through this journey.

I have struggled with really short, pitted, ugly and sensitive front teeth for around the last 20 years. Matt first suggested a few years ago that he could replace my front four and it would make a huge difference. I finally got them done this year and he was right! Fantastic experience: I have finally found a great local dentist service. Shontelle is the most amazing receptionist and had been very helpful when booking and rearranging my appointments. Kim is so warming and friendly and this was the first time my clean did not hurt and as for Matt my dentist he is the most professional dentist I have met both in Australia and New Zealand. Prices are very competitive and the service is 10/10.

Positive experience: Shontelle is a very friendly receptionist, Matt is very calm and considerate. The clinic is super sterile. They know they're stuff. I missed the instruction about not drinking through a straw... The surgery was quick and clean, hardly any pain. My new false teeth are a bit of a mouthful, and look identical to my auntie's. I was expecting them to look a little like my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Like most people, I have fear of pain when having dental repairs. From the moment your enter Tikipunga Dental, you are greeted with a warm relaxing atmosphere. You can see the professional presentation and this is complimented while sitting in the dental chair, having Matt making you feel relaxed with light humor. I have never experienced any pain after leaving Matt's dental chair. Highly recommended.
