Fantastic experience: Had a tooth out yesterday. I had a fear of dentist. Dr Ali was amazing, talking me through the process before he started. It was an amazing experience. Going back again and I'm not scared or anxious.

I had a crippling fear of dentistry after an awful experience in Auckland years ago and had been putting it off and putting it off. He and the wonderful dental assistants made me feel so ridiculously relaxed that... I actually fell asleep during a root canal Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm looking forward to going back.

Fantastic experience: Ali is absolutely amazing. I have been terrified of dentists since I was a kid and he was so understanding and gentle. My teeth were so sensitive eating or drinking anything nearly sent me into orbit, but now I’m not scared to eat or drink. I cannot recommend him enough.

Negative experience: i had my final dentistry before i turned 18, they told me i was getting 3 fillings done, but instead the gave me 3 veneer caps after drilling my teeth down to the pulp (my dentist was telling his assistant when my pulp was exposed) and they played with it for a while and then covered it. since that day of my veneers getting done i have no been able to eat comfortable or painlessly, im scared of getting new dental appointments, and i get nerve pain whenever i eat. i tried to get them to help me hut they ended up turning me away because i was over 18 and they were not willing to fix the problems that THEY made, they shouldve been more than happy to help with what they started but, theyd rather get a new payment to fix their own mistakes, honestly that doesnt sit right with me. they have a lovely setup and out look on them, but the dentists are just not good at the job they do. HIGHLY recommend choosing another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Really great experience, friendly staff from the receptionist to the dentist and assistant. With multiple practices in New Plymouth, they have more flexibility to get you an appointment and the follow ups quickly. Dr Li Qui Lai was polite, professional and friendly. I had my check he explained the condition of my teeth, what was needed and other options as well, happy when I went for the basic option. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: I like many have a mortal fear of the Dentist. But I broke a tooth and was sure I was in for a world of pain. But... I didnt feel a thing. Not a thing. The calming confidence of my Dentist put me at ease and I was assured that I could ask questions and take breaks. My jaw hurt a bit from being held open for about an hour. But my new tooth is fantastic. No Hole, no pain and no sensitivity to temp. And the price was way cheaper then other dentists had quoted.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, I had appointment on the same day when I called. The dentist, Dr Ali was very attentive, he saw the problem and fix it for me. Also, the clinic has a nice ambience to it with lots of plants.

Fantastic experience: Dr Li Qui Lai did an amazing job repairing 6 of my front teeth – absolutely top level skills in all his procedures, with zero discomfort, and at very reasonable cost. And he’s got a great sense of humour! The staff are most helpful and friendly - I’d recommend Dental Delight to everybody.

Negative experience: This review is for the molesworth Street clinic. The don't have enough knowledge on insurance cover prior to the consultation.Unfortunatly, the X-ray machine was not working during my visit.

Fantastic experience: Past mindset towards my oral health was negative, some old school dentists that had practiced in New Plymouth years back could be at best, described as patronizing ,lecturing instead of educating,I let my teeth and confidence down,thinking all was lost,and not bothering to visit a dental practice again for 11 years,I worried over my teeth,believing as I had been told, they would likely be pulled for falsies,down the track ..so why bother,I was recommended by a aunt to check this new place out,she had been,so should I,I did,and they are awesome I will now confidentiality keep up with my oral health they are the best at what they do! Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from Dr Andrew Lamb and the team. Rang up at short notice with what I thought was a gum infection and they managed to get me in the same day. Turns out it was a wisdom tooth playing up. He made the whole process a breeze, it was out without having to make another appointment. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I was greeted nicely by the admin and dental assistant, however my experience sitting in the dental seat was awkward. The dentist decided it would be the perfect time to discuss with assistant, the details of a Male friends sexual orientation and how they chose to identify. Sitting with my mouth open and teeth in pain, I thought it was very inappropriate and unprofessional. And to make matters worse he was really rude to his assistant. Perhaps maybe wait until your lunch break instead of discussing over the top of me the matters of someone else's private life.

Fantastic experience: Wow...Best dentist i've ever been to,Friendly staff,Dentist made sure that i did not feel anything,before he extracted my tooth.Then when i left,i realized that i forgot my partial denture at the place,so when i got home,i called them and the Dental assistant dropped it off at my place....Awesome.Thanks for going the extra Mile.

Fantastic experience: Dr Andrew Lamb is the Dentist looking after the work getting dun with my teeth. From the first time I went there just b4xmas day he explained Wat needed to be dun and if I had of left it much longer besides the pain factor the damage from my too chipped teeth would of resulted in gum infection and a hospital visit.So I made the decision for my own self confidence and to have a smile again, I turn 50 in 5months and I am gonna be proud to b able to smile and laugh normally instead of hiding behind my hand, no more tooth aches or sensitive teeth for this guy and a pain free procedure I can't wait.. Top marks and 5stars to Andrew an staff from Dental Delight.. highly recommend them..
