Negative experience: Would not recommend this place!!!!!! Do not go here if you value your money!! Came in for a consultation . At that time, was assured that the proposed results were achievable and I subsequently paid an additional \$500 for treatment planning. Shortly after, I was informed that what I was hoping to achieve could not be done, and you referred me to Hamilton Orthodontics. I recently attended my consultation there and was told, definitively, that my treatment goals are not feasible through orthodontics. In fact, the orthodontist did not even charge me for the consultation, as it was clear that no treatment would be moving forward. This has been extremely disappointing. I feel that I was given unrealistic expectations during my initial consultation, only to be told later that the desired outcome was never achievable. To make matters worse, I was only refunded half of what I paid — a decision I find difficult to understand, given that the treatment never proceeded and could not be performed in the first place.

Fantastic experience: All three of my children have been through Changing Faces, one for braces, one for a tongue tie and the last for Invisalign. The team are so lovely, positive, thorough and I highly recommend them to anyone needing some orthodontic help. Have never had any issues, the ladies at reception are accommodating and understand that we come from out of town. Highly recommend the team at Changing Faces

Fantastic experience: I had 3 amalgam fillings removed and replaced with white filling. Abby used the Smart Technique to remove the metal which I was relieved about as I am recovering from cancer. The procedure was explained to me and both Abby and her technician were thorough and very efficient. The whole experience was not painful and I left feeling pleased that a great job was done.

Negative experience: This was my dental practice for years, starting as a child to a teen with braces, staying with them through the change of practice partners and businesses. Then my orthodontist retired and my dentist was "on leave", not just once but many times. When I looked into it, it turned out that he wasn't 'on leave' but he had LEFT the practice a few years ago. What's left now is inexperienced, unprofessional, inefficient, incompetent staff, with poor customer service and terrible communication skills. They can't even return a call and being put on their wait list for urgent treatment means you're brushed to the side to be forgotten about. I finally received a copy of a report (via others since I couldn't get a response from several messages) to find the report was full of errors and has notes missing, especially from a previous treatment that was not done properly and caused serious damage that I had to pay for. Not only that but it has my previous dentist's name on it... Yes, illegally using his name and it's apparently been done to cover the dentist who was not yet qualified at the time. I'm glad I never heard back to be booked in because they not only quoted over $2k more than the quotes from four other dentists, they also missed something so basic that would've caused serious harm had they done the treatment. My health was already deteriorating from the infection they didn't even notice despite it being so easy to see by other dentists and doctors. It's not cool when you're in so much pain, unable to eat properly for weeks, maxed on antibiotics and having to watch out for signs of sepsis. I'm so lucky I was able to see another dentist after calling them once and they booked me in for the earliest appointment, which was only a couple of days later.

Fantastic experience: Our little ones oral tie releases have quite literally been life changing! We are incredibly grateful to Jenna and the team for their comprehensive understanding and expertise in identifying and treating oral ties. We are so thrilled to be enjoying a happy little baby whose wonderful personality is shining through now he is feeding well and out of tummy pain

Fantastic experience: I went for dental hygiene performed by Nerissa. She was courteous and, above all, very professional; I didn't feel any pain. Later, I was examined for an annual check-up by a dentist, Abby, who observed me very carefully and gave me important advice. I highly recommend turning to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Both my daughter and son were treated for tongue and lip ties shortly after each was born. Both times were professional, quick, and it made a world of difference to them.

Negative experience: Dr Nettie is lovely but the practice manager Emma is the nastiest most arrogant rude person ever to deal with the public I’ve ever come across … dont go there for this reason if she disagrees with you she kicks you off their client list… and they charge excessive fees.

Positive experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Changing Faces Dental Practice for an assessment on a possible dental implant, a temporary tooth, and a routine cleaning. My care was delivered by a fantastic team: Dentist Nettie, Assistant Berkha, Hygienist Nerissa, and a great receptionist who each contributed significantly to my positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. We went in for a tongue and lip tie release for our 3 month old and the whole appointment was seamless. From a warm welcome at the front desk, to the incredibly informative, kind, and passionate Alys who took care of us. We travelled from Auckland and would do it again.

Fantastic experience: Hi All I highly recommend Changing Faces. I have had alot of trips to the dentist in my younger days. Which had put me off going back to get my teeth sorted. From the first time i walked in to my last appointment All the ladies that worked with me have been awesome to deal with and understood my fear of the dentist. Fantastic experience: As a referring practitioner, I have found Changing Faces to be professional, knowledgeable and compassionate when treating oral ties on newborns. Their gentle holistic approach, and follow up care is second-to-none. Fantastic experience: Just had my 2nd visit to Changing faces Dentistry Hamilton,must say magnificent/ affordable ..there team of Dr’s and nurses explain throughly what type of treatment plan/ costing is right for you.Having a root canal done is always a little tough,but felt at ease how they communicate and advise what issues are and how we great a outcome.Highly recommend this team of professionals %

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. We have been going to Changing Faces for a long time, they are the ones we trust and are totally comfortable with. The team are so kind and efficient, and the Dentists' are so amazing and know their knowledge. They will explain what they feel is the best treatment and how to help you, and will listen to any concerns or worries you have. Honestly, amazing team and we will always go to them- have been taking my Children there since their teeth started popping out. I'm so happy and comfortable knowing they are in safe hands, and their mouths are getting looked after. Thank you Changing Faces, your team is amazing !!

Fantastic experience: Both my children have had orthodontic work done at Changing Faces. The whole process from start to finish was so seamless! The holistic nature of the practise ensured my children felt safe and comfortable and were well informed throughout. With one now out of braces, he is regularly complemented on his beautiful smile, and the follow up and after-care has been humbling. There is also the added bonus of "Skye". If you haven't met Skye before, you need to pop in for a visit. She is the Changing Faces gorgeous therapy dog who brings a calming presence to each appointment. Thank you Changing Faces! I cant recommend you enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a filling done here and I was so impressed with the experience it was painfree and efficient.

Negative experience: We were not told of the pain our 5 week old daughter might be in after her tongue and lip tie treatment or of the possibility of bleeding nor were our concerns or ordeal taken seriously. She was clearly in extreme pain, she screaming in a way she never has before for hours, could not feed or take bottles, or be comforted at all. When she finally slept she woke often screaming and whimpering. Saliva poured every where. The next morning while she was feeding her mouth started bleeding a lot, it went on both of our clothes and took half an hour at least to stop. We rang and we're advised to bring her in immediately. Once there the doctor was very short and dismissive and it was down played again. Our concerns about the pain and bleeding and not being informed about the risk of it happening were not listen to. We weren't even given the time of day. You would think they would want to know about my babies experience so they knew about the possibilities of what could happen to other babies and prepare other parents better. Would not recommend this service at all based on our interactions with staff. Public hospital treats you much better. Have laid a complaint.

Fantastic experience: Lanie is amazing - have been seeing her for ages, possibly not as regularly as I should (my own fault), but everytime I go she is attentive, caring, thorough and does an excellent clean. Before I came here I received a scale and polish elsewhere that had me in tears the entire time - this has never occurred with Lanie. Highly recommend :)

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling service, do not go to this dentist, money seems to be the motivation here not patient health. It’s seems we are not the only ones that have experienced the same terrible treatment. Spend you money elsewhere!

Negative experience: Once properly looking back and talking to atleast 20 people who have had very similar experience they should never have been performing any orthodontistry. I had braces done with them as a teenager my treatment plan was poorly executed. My braces were only on just over a year while still costing nearly 7K. My teeth weren't even straight when they decided to take to them off and I was told to wear a retainer that was just a mould of my crooked teeth to straighten them up more. Some major replasing happened witin the first 3 months of my braces being taken off and they blamed it on me not following instructions as a teenager... I wore that crooked retainer everyday. My teeth eventually looked the same as before if not worse. As an adult I have had to get braces again untill the age of 26 and get serious corrective work done as this practice failed to deliver. Basic things like crowding, forgetting baby teeth, over/under bite and visibly crooked teeth. These were all fixed years later by a real orthodontist. After reachng out and asking my records so I can see/ compare treatment plans they have no info from when I was there and cant provide any further assistance. I strongly suggest taking your children elsewhere and not wasting your time or money here.

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing. I had incredibly crooked teeth. My previous orthodontist had said I would need 4 teeth pulled out then braces on the very next day!!! But I went to this practice and they were very kind and professional. I don't have any photos of before my braces my mum does though. You can also see how much more confident I have gotten after braces.

Negative experience: Never on time and has sent out a text confirming the date and there turned up and the said it's not today

Negative experience: Usually, the staff at a business will want to please the customer to keep them coming back. A universally acknowledged fact, right? This is the worst customer service I have ever seen, and has been another in a long line of annoyances this business has. When I was only 10 minutes late, they could not find 5 minutes to take care of my son's broken bracket, which was not his fault and happens over time. My son's orthodontist is also extremely incompetent and regularly hurts him while working on his braces. If you need dentistry work, please find another place, not these clowns.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! The process of laser surgery for our baby's tongue and lip tie was so fast and Painless and was successful! Feed straight away and felt so much better. Thanks team! Friendly caring and professional.

Positive experience: Really good services nice professional staff, but what I don’t like is there no room for each dentist they only have small separative between each

Negative experience: Go to a proper orthodontist not these clowns. My Fixed retainer that a proper orthodontist did broke after 12+ years and went to these guys for a replacement. It didn’t even last 1 year Then they wanted to charge me again to replace it for a new one. I understand wages and materials cost money, but I will never be a return customer as they could’ve subsided the cost as metal lasting less than a year is rediculas. The orthodontist that put the wire in also was giving off nervous vibes and didn’t seem confident in his work. And now I know why.
