Fantastic experience: Devonport Dental came through when I needed it most. I had the worst toothache and they literally squeezed me in last minute, no questions asked. Got treated right away and everyone there was insanely kind and respectful. Big shoutout to Aliza for making it all happen.The whole vibe was super professional but also chill and friendly, which honestly made the whole thing way less scary. So grateful I found them!

Fantastic experience: I don’t like pain nor stress when having Dental Work done. Having had one Crown and two Tooth Implant procedures, Adeel managed the pain at “nil” and his narration throughout the process removed any stress. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Adeel Punjwani to any person wanting painless, stressless dental work done.

He is not only incredibly skilled and professional but also truly passionate about providing the best care possible. The staff energy is contagious and reassuring. Every step is explained clearly, and he always checks in to make sure you’re comfortable. Negative experience: Do not go here people. Normally I dont post but feel compelled to. Shocking experience with a lady who I think was the dentists wife on the phone today. Highly unprofessional and reactive interrupting and hungup couple times. First her receptionist calls me 9.30 to confirm my 88yr old mothers appt at midday. I said I would arrange payment immediately after. All good, all confirmed or so I thought!. Then receptionist boss (wife of Dr Punjwani? ) calls me and says theres no appt for your mother today - she must make payment first. I couldn't even speak. I tried to explain politely my mother is in Auckland and not with me (Im in another city) and at this moment mums probably in taxi on her way to the dental clinic / doesnt hv a cell phone- should honor scheduled appt. She literally hung up on me!. Then she called me back to say she had got hold of mum to tell her to now come on Wednesday but must bring cash to pay before the appt. (Fortunately mum hadnt left home). I then phoned my mother to explain what happened. Apparently she was told her dentist was away?!. I suspect that's a lie because there's only one dentist in the clinic and at 9.30 the othe receptionist confirmed the appt!! What! Anyway, My mother had agreed to the new appt on Wednesday and that she would bring cash on arrival. However she also felt the lady was rude and abrupt. You'd think it ends there...no! Couple hours later the lady co owner calls me and says we have decided not to take your mum now coming Wednesday. I politely asked why ? She said "I" decided I dont want your mother on our books!." I attempted to de-escalate her v raised voice and asked to speak w mums dentist to simply find out what has gone wrong here why? I tried all this calmly. Again, she refused me a conversation with (her husband dentist) to potentially resolve whatever the problem or miscommunication was between her and I or with my mum (I still dont know! lol). And then she hung up.! I conferred with my mum who was understandably upset. Mum said she would call a last time to try see for herself what the problem was request to speak w the dentist directly EVEN ACCEPTING SHE MAY NEVER GO THERE... to close (or on tiny chance resolve). You guessed it, I believe my mother when she's says the women (Mrs Punjwani? again was loud interrupting and hung up on my 88 yr old mother! People don't go here! Politeness is such a simple thing , if there's an issue you talk it through or if those parties can't you try get another. (REALLY IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT TO RETAIN BUSINESS LOL). ...A decent conversation was all my mother wanted w her dentist to close matters. We have a new dentist for her btw lol

Fantastic experience: My two front teeth have never looked so good Fifty years ago I broke them falling off my tri-cycle! The fillings have regularly been repaired but never this well. A beautiful job done very gently and swiftly. Thank you Adeel.

Fantastic experience: I've just finished a couple months worth of appointments with Dr Adeel and his staff. As someone who had avoided the dentist for a long time, I had a lot of work to do and a lot of anxieties around going to see the dentist. Following an extraction, and some fillings, there is no other dentist that I would recommend. Adeel is amazingly calm, and always puts his patients first. I will be telling everyone I know about Adeel at Devonport Dental!

Fantastic experience: I switched to Devonport Dental as the team were able to provide dental care for our kids while at primary and secondary school. I wanted to build a relationship with the team as a family. I cannot recommend the team at Devonport Dental enough. Since moving my dental care to Devonport Dental I have had a major incident involving a tooth absess - the subsequent pain caused my jaw to seize. The team worked with me, Devonport Medical and Auckland Chiropractors & Acupuncturists in Takapuna to review pain treatment and get my jaw moving enough to complete the dental treatment required. It took a few attempts (to get my jaw open) but we got there. I will forever be greatful for the team in getting me past this. Get your teeth checked if you feel any discomfort!

Fantastic experience: Visiting Devonport from Australia when I fractured a tooth. Visited to see if they could me, not could they help, they fitted me in straight away and fixed the fractured tooth. Great service from all staff and very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve got quite a rare dental condition which is called a gagging reflex. So for the past 8-9 years I used to only get my dental treatments done when I visit India. But finally I have found a dentist here in New Zealand who is able to manage my condition and do my dental treatments. Dr Adeel, Dr John and his team at Devonport dental are fantastic to say the least. My family too go to Dr Adeel for all their dental treatments, but I had been postponing going to a dentist till I tried Devonport dental. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I would highly recommend Dr Adeel and his team at Devonport dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Adeel Punjwani has been our dentist since we moved to Devonport 4 months ago. Neither my wife nor I had had work done on our teeth for over 5 years, and in that short time Adeel has put Crowns on my wife’s bottom front teeth, is part way through an implant process, and has ,after extensive repair work ,provided me with a nearly full top plate and partial bottom plate. All without hardly realising what has happened. Apart from having the best dental technical skills we have experienced in our 80 years, Adeel has also a wonderful personality quite unlike the persona usually accorded a dentist, and all this with very competitive pricing for which we are most grateful. We wish to stress this recommendation is totally unsolicited, and we have actually enjoyed our association , which extends to front of house, where his wife Eliza is both cheerful and helpful , and enhances the Practice and its operations. We totally recommend Devonport Dental to anyone needing first class ,economical dental work, delivered with an engaging personality yet full communication on alternative answers for treatment. Fantastic experience: I am a new cline here and had a wonderful experience getting a much needed crown from Dr Adeel. He showed me on screen what was going on with my tooth, discussed the process and then used amazing equipment to image and 3D print the crown. He was knowledgeable, gentle and worked fast. So great to have expert dental care right in the village.
