Fantastic experience: Had an appointment this morning at The Rolleston Dental centre - spoke to 2 receptionists who were both fabulous - friendly and helpful. Saw Dr Abbas for my treatment - gentle kind and professional. Good experience.

Negative experience: Wow oh wow the receptionist was extremely rude. Lack of human skills. I think her name is raya but she is the older lady. Absolutely disgusting mannerism and lack of empathy. Will not be returning as what the hell is that about. Honestly needs to hire a new receptionist.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time to a dentist after a long time. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Zainab was my dentist. She is an absolute professional, very patient and caring. Many thanks to Zainab and her assistant. Overall a lovely positive experience. Definitely recommend Rolleston dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Zainab and her assistant Nicole were absolutely amazing with my extremely needle phobic daughter this morning. The only team that have ever managed to treat her without gas or sedation. So very grateful.

Negative experience: The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was nice but the price was shocking. $230 and it took around 35min, there is no way to justify this cost, I highly recommend shopping around in Christchurch, I've had equal service for close to half the cost.

Fantastic experience: Giving 5* for the lovely lady that spoke to me at 10:04 19/4/24, she really struggled with my second name over the phone to find my hygienist appointment. This is a message to say don’t worry; you were amazing!

Fantastic experience: I just had four teeth extraction today with Zainab, and one of my tooth was really complicated but she made it so easy and painless. I totally recommend having Zainab as your dentist, she is so professional and she is so outspoken. Great service from everyone too as they are so friendly.

Fantastic experience: Very caring dentist practice.. we all hate the dentist so very important that they are kind and gentle. Zainab is the best. Also go to hygienist who is wonderful too

Fantastic experience: I have had a couple of teeth repaired here that were damaged as a result of steel in my food, Nick worked on me both times, he did an outstanding job repairing the teeth and I found the cost to be far more reasonable than I expected for such work. Cheers Team

Negative experience: They get your money and damage your teeth and if you go back then threaten you that they will call the police. Rip offs! Scammers!

Fantastic experience: Today was my best ever experience at a dentist in my 70years. It was an emergency appointment for toothache so I had not been to this particular dentist at Rolleston Dental before. I was scared as usual to go but Zainab Abbas immediately put me at ease. She explained what was causing my tooth ache and how she could fix it. She was so kind and caring. She used modern dental treatment to make the whole process pain free. I would thoroughly recommend her if you want expert pain free treatment for your teeth. She advised me the cost of the treatment, to which I agreed. She used the exact right amount of anaesthetic so that it worked perfectly but did not leave me with swollen lips and mouth. Her Dental Assistant was ver gentle as well. I am so happy and grateful.

Negative experience: Pathetic service from their receptionist who had no idea about their own website system. She was rude, didnt care about talking the issue out, and hung up on me when I was trying to get an answer. She clearly doesn’t like her job and clearly isn’t good at it. I sincerely hope she learns the art of customer service towards the customer.

I was extremely nervous to get my tooth extracted because everyone warned me that it's not going to be an easy task. You made me feel so comfortable and did a fantastic job! Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a couple years now and it's always consistently great service. Sherin is my dentist and she is wonderful, always taking such care to make sure I am as comfortable as possible.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking service. Went in and booked an appointment and was up front straight away that was going to be an extraction of a wisdom tooth with possible complications. I was then told to make an appointment for the following week for the extraction, which I did also booking two days off work in the process. On arrival the Dentist seemed intent on giving me every reason it couldn't be done and more concerned that if it wasn't routine it would make her next patient late rather than the job in hand. I was then asked what I wanted to do and I said proceed because it needs to come out, only to have the same thing explained again and that there now wasn't enough time anyway. So here I am still with a decaying Wisdom tooth, two days down on leave balance and back to square one, FFS. TOTALLY AND UTTERLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Negative experience: Extremely rude receptionist. My appointment was cancelled twice due to them having ill staff members, which is fine I completely understand they're human after all. They ask to rebook it later in the week but I have work the rest of the week so said it's fine I will look somewhere else as I have work the rest of the week to which the woman replied in a rude and abrupt manner "dentist's get sick too you know, these things happen, but that's fine". Wow, probably want to sort that sort of attitude out. I then felt the need to explain myself to the woman, as I am in alot of discomfort and simply can't wait until next week. Extremely disappointing, I will be sure to advise friends and family of this rude womans service.

Fantastic experience: If you want pain free dental care and wonderful patient care then I absolutely recommend Rolleston Dental Centre. If you have trepidation about visiting a dentist, don't, because after visiting RDC I can assure you will experience the very best pain free experience possible. And I have seen a few in my day. Prices most reasonable.

Fantastic experience: I have had very bad experiences with Dentals Nurses and Dentists so was extremely grateful for the special care that Cathy and Liying took to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I had advised of my prior experiences and they took that in their stride and paused several times to check in with me. These ladies are a credit to the Industry and will be my go to in a years time.

Negative experience: I just tried to make an appointment but they wouldn't see my son because they wouldn't get the funding.... even though their website states free dental for under 18 year olds and they didn't even offer that I could pay for it. Extremely unhelpful receptionist didn't appear to want to help me at all.

Then Meg who attended to my teeth was fantastic at explaining everything that she was going to do. Then when Maddie came into help Meg it was great listening to their banter.
