Fantastic experience: Who truly enjoys the idea of going to the dentist? Not me anyway... I have started back at the Matakana branch after a few years of not going to a dentist. From Leesa at the front desk to walking the out, the experience is great. Luisa, the oral health therapist is precise and careful and Candace & Sam provide a comfortable, clearly communicated dentistry practice; and the crew are all good chat also - bonus! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Mahurangi Dentist in Matakana and had such a positive experience. The German dentist was incredibly professional yet down-to-earth, offering valuable advice and helping me understand a few important things about my dental care. The hygienist was absolutely lovely, compassionate and gentle during the cleaning, which was painless and quick, unlike other experiences where I've felt discomfort. I’m so happy to have switched to this dentist and feel well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I broke a molar recently ....loosing half of the tooth. I was able to get an apt. within a day. I was examined quickly with German modern equipment. The tooth was capped within one day using amazing equipment. I found Christian and his staff very reassuring and educational.... All together a great experience. Look forward to my next dental checkup.

Negative experience: The best advice I can give to anyone seeking dental treatment is to avoid this practice with a barge pole. I, along with several people I know, have had nightmare experiences with this practice. Without going into much detail, the dentists provide services beyond their capabilities, alter notes to cover their backs, and then don't properly resolve their shortcomings. Ideally, this practice shouldn't be allowed to continue operating. There are plenty of other practices in Warkworth that provide a better service. (I paid for the services in advance, the dentist died, the new management took over, and then the new owners completed the work without completing the proper paperwork as stipulated in my contract. I am sick of the excuses.)

Fantastic experience: I can only say good things about my experiences here. I'm always welcomed with a smile, everyone is caring and making sure you have the best experience. The place is very clean and using the latest tools to make it easier for them and more comfortable for you. I used to be in a lot of pain during and after my appointments in previous dental practices, thinking that was normal. With Mahurangi Dental, I discovered that this is not normal. I was very stressed for my first appointment. They reassured me and their gentle approach really helped me feeling less and less anxious. All around the team is just amazing! Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: After many years of neglecting my teeth I had come to the point where I required a full dental makeover. Top and bottom implants, crowns and extractions. A friend living in Omaha recommended I get a consultation at Matakana dental care as he had heard a lot of good things about them from his neighbours and some of the locals as well. I originally thought that it was going to cost me more than what all my other quotations were since Matakana is a very high market area. To cut a long story short, I spent roughly about 30 to 40 minutes with Dr Vivek Jain and he inspected my teeth, took an X-ray and created a full make over plan and his quotation was much more cheaper than everyone else’s . Dr Vivek does amazing work and all the staff at Matakana dental care are very professional and friendly. They really look after you, from the initial operation through to aftercare and follow up calls. They really make you feel comfortable and talk you through everything. I travelled one hour and 20 minutes to get to Matakana dental care and it is worth it. Any future hygiene cleaning treatments or any future dental work I get done will be with them. Thanks again Dr Vivek and Sarita Smith and all of the Matakana staff. I thank you all and very much appreciate all your hard work. I’m always looking in the mirror at my teeth and getting compliments from work mates, family and friends on how great my teeth look. Amazing job guys thanks again.

Fantastic experience: My unwanted visit was without a doubt a fearless visit. I'm a coward that’s hates needles and dental pain. I had to have an emergency extraction and on Saturday too. I was fitted in to their schedule. When I arrived they could see I was not in a happy place but help me to calm down. When I was taken in to the exam room the dentist Sherine Hosny Hakim and her assistant claimed me completely the procedure was painless and I mean painless just a little pressure that is all. In all the staff where fantastic on this day to me, and as a bonus the cost considering the urgency etc was a lot lower than I expected to pay. Thank you, I will return when I next need their expertise and have no fear.

Fantastic experience: I went to 2 other dentist for an extraction the first said no and took 2 months to send a referral to the next dental practice who again couldnt conplete the job. I then rang matakana and was booked in in 3 days and got my extraction done ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT an i am a total wimp. The price was lots cheaper too for a quality job!! Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I have been to! Highly recommend! Receptionist is lovely and the dental assistants are super nice too and work really well with the dentist. Dr. Vivek Jain is super caring and made sure I was feeling ok the whole time. I went in with pain, Dr. Vivek Jain did a couple of X-rays and found the problem and performed a root canal the same day. Procedure was painless and I have had no pain after. Received a call from the receptionist the next day to ensure I was feeling ok after the procedure and that I didn't have any pain.

Fantastic experience: I have been here several times in the past few years so wanted to comment on the fantastic care & facility . Vivek has the latest technology in his State of the art clinic . He is a very skilled & caring dentist . The pricing is very competitive. He explains everything & is happy to answer any questions . I would totally recommend Vivek for any type of dental work no matter how complex . It is a privilege to have such good dental care in Matakana.
