Gentle Dental Cambridge

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had bad dental experiences in the past, I cannot recommend Hasan Adheem and the team at Gentle Dental enough. My tooth broke and my nerve got infected, Hasan explained everything to me in a way I understood and managed to save my tooth, which I am beyond grateful for! They truly live up to their name of being Gentle! I felt at ease and comfortable the whole time and am no longer fearful of going to the dentist. The staff is friendly and helpful and the practice is clean and welcoming. Highly recommend Hasan and Gentle Dental!

Fantastic experience: One of the best experiences I've ever had at a dentist. Dr Firas Adheem is adhering to the name of the business and being a gentleman as well. And very quick and efficient! After having bad experiences with other dentists before he assured me of his service and skill and he delivered 1000%. The attention to detail like matching the colour of your filling with the colour of your tooth is next level, even if the filling is in a place where it's not even visible. I would go back any day and am sending everyone I know there as well.

Fantastic experience: The best experience I have had at a dentist. The service fits the name of the practice very well. All the staff I have dealt with are fabulous and professional. The reception staff are great, Firas is kind and I felt very confident with his care and treatment. Big shout out to Hayley as a Hygienist too. I’d recommend Gentle Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist in Cambridge. Sadly I’m leaving only because I moved out of town. Too far to travel back from Masterton. Thankyou

Negative experience: If there were minus five stars i would give that for feedback, the worst experience in my life as far as professionalism and honesty is concerned. So glad i got a second opinion. Also got charged a consultation fee for something i did not receive. Rude rush and defiantly need to retire or do a refresher course to locate dental issues

Fantastic experience: Dr. Firaz was fantastic and repaired 6 teeth with fillings in only an hour, including one that another dentist incorrectly had told me was fine and didn't need a filling even when I had raised concerns about it. This meant that the cavity had almost got to the nerve so Dr. Firaz saved my tooth. He did a great job matching the colour of the fillings to my existing teeth and I am really happy with the health and cosmetic outcomes. The dental nurse was very professional also. The frontline staff were great, calling for a reminder the previous day, and were very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Firaz!

Fantastic experience: Dr firas was absolutely amazing I was terrified of the dentist from a bad experience and let my teeth rot away because I refused to go to a dentist I found this place gentle dental and it is exactly that I’m no longer afraid to go and will be going more often for checks well looked after from Dr Firas

Happy to answer questions, explains all procedures prior and during treatment. A dentist that gives you confidence. The clinic also has fantastic dental hygienists onsite. Fantastic experience: Very Gentle, I visited gentle dental for a tooth extraction. They were very informative and helpful with keeping me chilled out. The tooth extraction very quick and easy. I was very nauseous but they helped me feel better and checked on me often to make sure. Thanks Gentle Dental

Negative experience: Totally unprofessional dentist. Openly bad-mouthed another health professional. Unwelcoming and unfriendly. Refused to put anything in writing because he "doesn't have time", yet according to him there's serious issues with child's teeth caused by another dentist, he says isn't a specialist! The worst experience I've ever had in any setting in NZ. Would never recommend this dentist. It's astounding that anyone in any client-facing setting could be so arrogant, rude, obnoxious and unhelpful, while calling himself a professional in diagnostics, but isn't even an orthodontist himself.

Fantastic experience: I took my 3 year old girl to Gentle Dental today for a booking with Rachel. I was so nervous on behalf of my girl but Rachel was absolutely amazing. She was so good with her and she was so kind to me. Would definitely recommend her

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience in my life. Every time - the whole team is friendly, kind and professional. I had a few quotes for the removal of 3 wisdom teeth and Gentle Dental was not only cheaper than the others but a much nicer venue altogether. For a small fee you can get IV sedation - I highly recommend this for extractions. James is a fabulous dentist and makes what is normally a scary, painful experience so pleasant. No longer scared of the dentist and happily drive from Hamilton to Cambridge to stick with Gentle Dental! Thanks team :)

Fantastic experience: Went to gental dental 7 years ago and have now rejoined. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are amazing. The receptionists work super hard to make all appointments fit/work for everyone. Dr Firas is a fantastic dentist and the work he did 7 years ago is still looking fantastic today, I highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: The best experience I've ever had at a dentist. The dentist was clear and communicative, clearly explaining exactly what was going on with my teeth. I left with some of the cleanest fillings I've ever had, and excellent fixes to issues caused by one of the less skilled dentist to have touched my mouth in the past. As my next dentist visit comes due I greatly regret that I won't be able to make it to this same dentist, but I can at least recommend them to others.

Fantastic experience: I have (or should I say 'had') severe dental phobia. At my first appointment I could barely walk through the front door. I have been going here now for seven years and my confidence and ease has grown to where I have now had a wisdom tooth extraction with very little pain and no complications. My dentist is extremely skilful and gentle (and funny), the whole team are friendly and supportive and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Always had excellent service here. The dentists have a huge knowledge on dentistry and awards/qualifications to back it up. Always treated well and they do a good job!

Negative experience: Will not be going back, care towards children is Discusting (she has a needle phobia and needed two baby teeth pulled) The male dentist we saw was arrogant, rude and told us to get up and go somewhere else. I can’t say the name “gentle dental” is fitting at all!

Fantastic experience: I drive from Hamilton to see Dr Firaz, he is the best.

Negative experience: Got a filling here, during the course of which the dentist split my tounge open with the buffer and it bled for about 8-10 hours following the treatment, what is worse is he also chipped my tooth which was directly above where the filling went, and chose to just not say anything about it and I only realised when the anaesthetic wore off and I could fell my mouth again. I got no apology or explanation for either. Yes they are a bit cheaper than other places in Cambridge but after my experience not worth it at all.

Fantastic experience: The only dentist I have been able to trust in over 20 years. Always there for YOU. Cambridge Gentle Dental a family orientated dentist always gives me top service, value for money and respect. This dentist doesnt treat you like a cash cow either!

Negative experience: Very disappointed, cancelled appointments! Feeling rushed. Experiencing terrible pain after treatment and even after painkillers and antibiotics having to have teeth pulled! This is everything you don't expect from a dentist
