Fantastic experience: JD is away awesome when I've visited. Clear and honest around what work is required and has a great casual but professional approach. Receptionist also same casual, approachable but professional manner with the ability to joke. Something that can relax a patient when lots of work is to be done to their teeth. Totally recommended

Negative experience: The dentist JD Patel is very good, but the receptionist is appalling behavior has traumatized me this morning. To explain she had initially quoted me $60 but when it came to pay she told me it was $80 when i questioned her, she became outraged, saying that if i cant just pay an extra $20, she will just charge me $60 so i would stop arguing with her. I was never arguing i just wanted to know what the extra charge was for. When i started to explain our earlier conversation on the phone, she put her hands up in the air and kept repeating no she doesn't want to hear it, that i will just be repeating myself when i never actually had the chance to explain anything to her. she abruptly handed me the receipts and invoices and told me she was too busy to email it to me when i asked if i could get a copy of the invoice emailed to me. She has also hung up on the phone mid conversation. The dentist i would recommend but because of the receptionist, i would not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have always been very nervous going to dentists as I have sensitive teeth and gums, but JD is so gentle that I no longer fear getting work done. He has done extensive work for me including fixing faulty work by other dentists, and his work has always been impeccable. I'll never go anywhere else and cannot recommend him and his staff highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant !! I had to take my 14 year old for 4 x extraction. Poor thing didn't want to go through the trauma twice so requested if this could be done all at once. Dr Patel was just awesome , one of the tooth was just popping out , would have had to get a surgeon to cut open but Dr Patel worked his magic and was able to take them all out !. very gentle, my son was super happy, and in just 2 days he was even chewing on food !! would recommend to all worried parents... he just puts you at ease ...

Fantastic experience: The kindest dentist you can find. Really excellent care, will not try to sell you procedures you don't need. From root canal to a clean and polish JD is so skilled and kind you may almost look forward to going there. Well, maybe you won't look forward to it, but you'll be happy afterwards.

Fantastic experience: partner went in today to have 4 fillings, 1 extraction and scale and polish done. JD is a hard working dentist and you can see the passion he has for healthy teeth as stayed on for about 3 hours working on his teeth. he also gave some tips to keep his teeth healthy and is very friendly and professional. i would recommend him as he was recommended to us from the denture place up the road. thanks again JD.

Negative experience: I paid $200 for 1 filling and came out in 10 weeks went back paid another $60 for x-ray now JD Patel is telling me that the teeth needs comming out what I don't understand why not told me on first visit would have been nice

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel is the best! Highly recommend. I had a root canal done and he made the whole process so easy. He was very informative, calm, patient and a perfectionists. Other dentists I find can be pushy with their recommendations and they are quiet aggressive with their procedures. I went in for my appointment in the morning, and was back at work lunch time. Fantastic experience: Best Dentist ever highly recommended! JD has your best interests at heart, gives you good caring advice for looking after your teeth. He is very gentle so injections are your best friend. I've been so relaxed in the dentist chair I woke myself up with a snort. My whole family now only frequents one dentist. The results he provides you with are amazing. JD has fixed my root canals and gave me some natural bridges as well as crowns. NO need for a trip overseas to get work done, just come here. Has a very cheeky assistant too so be ready to laugh :) very friendly family environment. I strongly suggest you visit JD if you are serious about the health of your teeth and gums :) He really does care.

Fantastic experience: Contrary to another review, I find this business very friendly and yet business-like. I have had dentistry work done by JD for several years now. I travel 30 km to his surgery. He was recommended to me by a friend of mine. His assistants have always been friendly and caring. Sheema is lovely. JD is the most gentle dentist I have encountered in over 50 years. I almost fall asleep when in the chair. I have in turn recommended him to many others.

Negative experience: this is one of the rude bullshit clinic in whole nz, very rude on phone,dont know how to talk on phone,will never recommend any one,all clinic do the free examination,but clinic asked me 80 dollar just for checkup and hung up the phone rudely,i was bringing three people but from now i will never look at that clinic again,will tell everyone in my contact dont go to this clinic, may me mr patel need extra care how his staff behave with customers,
