Manurewa Dental Centre

Negative experience: Just tried a new dentist after manurewa dental being my dentist for years. Couldn’t understand why my fillings were lasting under 2 years. After been to my dentist today I realised how bad of a job manurewa dental perform. Always gave me uneven bite or weird filling texture in my mouth. I remember one filling literally lasted 2 hours! It’s like I scrapped it right off with my tounge. Also feels like when u get a winz quote they do an even worse job & milk the money out of it.

Then following the wonderful works of Andrew..Best dentist in Auckland!! Only place I would go and absolutely recommend to anyone and evweryone!!

Negative experience: We've paid for an xray and they wouldn't give us the actual xray when requested They sent a snap shot of some teeth no name time date or anything on it just 8 teeth it could belong to anyone they said they do not give their plan out to anyone yet we paid for an xray and they didn't want to send us a copy not good service not the receptionist the dentist he was quite rude when I asked for it and he just wouldn't give it. becareful make sure u ask for everything 1st before paying for there service

He performed my tooth extraction with remarkable gentleness, ensuring the entire process was completely pain-free. Fantastic experience: Went in to get an extraction but it ended up being a surgical extraction as there were complications with getting my tooth out. Dentist was very clear and communicated everything so well. Definitely recommend. Charged $600 for the surgical extraction, a bit pricey but for his expertise I'd say it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: I had a tricky tooth removal which needed to be surgically removed. Andrew my dentist was excellent. Professional and reasonably priced. Receptionists are always friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Andrew is very professional and takes good care of you and your teeth. I had a emergency extraction of 4 teeth and multiple fillings. It was all completed in 2 quick easy no fuss sessions. Andrew knew what was wrong and knew how to fix it immediately. Best dentist hands down teeth open wide lol. Actually reminds me I need to do my yearly visit. Cheers highly recommend, you won't regret it and your smile and teeth will be looking good

Fantastic experience: I had always been scared of the dentist, but not now that I have Andrew looking after me and I have been seeing Andrew for 20 years now. Andrew and the team are always patient and understanding. They now see our whole family and extended family too. Andrew was very kind when my father was terminally ill and helped out with special toothpaste for me to give to Dad. Dad was also a patient of Andrews and thought very highly of Andrew. I have complete confidence in Manurewa Dental to meet all of our dental needs in a kind and caring manner. I will always recommend Andrew to all of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Manurewa Dental Centre for coming up 10 years now, and Andrew has been my dentist during that time. I’ve had a lot of work done by him including fillings, a root canal and crowns due to not taking care of my teeth when I was younger. He always made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout those treatments, explained what was being done and why I needed it, and answers all my dumb questions without hesitation. The quality of his work is very good, I feel he has a high attention to detail which is essential in this line of work. I also get my teeth cleaned once a year by Emma, she is so friendly and kind, you could stay there chatting all day if it weren’t for the tools in your mouth! She provides a lot of really good advice on keeping your teeth clean, without making you feel bad about maybe not doing such a good job in the past. The rest of the team including assistants and reception/admin is also very welcoming and caring, which has really helped to reduce stress during my visits.

Fantastic experience: No one likes going to the dentist. After those bad experiences of going to the murder house while at school and having the dental nurse say open wide.When one leaves school you hope never to have to ever see a dentist again. Unfortunately bad habits impacted on my teeth and I needed to get them fixed after years of neglect. Flicking through the yellow pages I found Andrew Hall in Manurewa. That was twenty one years ago now. Dentists are like motor mechanics. When you find a good one you stick with them . And I have been very happy with Andrew Hall as my dentist since 2000. He all so has a great team with him from the receptionist to the dental hygienist. I personally recommend Andrew Hall as a dentist. So if you live in South Auckland give him a visit and in doing so support a local business in Manurewa. Ricky G

Negative experience: There should be an option for no stars. Had a terrible experience. Everything was super rushed and in doing the teeth scaling and was so very rough and felt like he (Andrew) was cutting up my gums. When I went to rinse all i was spitting out was a mouth full of blood. I was crying telling him it was so sore. He ended up hand scaling it instead after he had already gone thru my entire mouth cutting up every edge of my gums. Really traumatic experience. I will not ever return to this dentist again. Even thinking about it now makes me want to cry. Feels like because i had gotten a winz quote and payment thru winz he just wanted to get me out of the way. My fillings are really uneven so its left my bite uneven. Very very unhappy.

Negative experience: (Shouldn't be any star.) I wouldn't recommend to the gullible, who thinks that being friendly, etc, is good service. Soft-speaking dentist talks to you about cost even if he hasn't even diagnosed your tooth and discuss on how to make use of all your allotted dental insurance. How's that for kindness? So beware.
