Fantastic experience: The dentist and assistant who filled my tooth recently were extremely gentle. My tooth felt normal to chew on afterwards. The painkiller didn’t hurt being administered. They were very professional. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist, but this visit was relaxing!

Fantastic experience: Dr Liza is the master of administering pain relief! I went in for a tooth extraction after having a traumatic previous experience at another dental surgery, I was expecting 40 minutes of wrenching and torture and pain with a leg up on the dental chair and jerking backwards ( that was my previous experience) Liza checked my jaw was numb and then after a couple of minutes informed me my tooth was out. I didn’t even realise she’d got it out! Absolute super star. Definitely recommend Absolute LEGEND!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: One of my teeth had cracked and partly broken away. Was told it couldn't be extracted straight away due to needing minor surgery. Appointment made for 3 months time when surgeon available, so had a temporary filling put in to help with the sensitivity and pain. 6 weeks later the filling fell out, tooth sensitivity/pain was through the roof but I couldn't get into usual dentist for a week. Phoned around to see if I could get in ANYWHERE, Phoenix Dental made an appointment for me same afternoon. Expected another temporary filling. Dr Liza Rozdestvenskaja examined the tooth, did Xray and said extraction could happen that day if I was certain. I was certain alright. 30 minutes later I walk out pain free. First time ever I was happy to pay for dental work - which was a hell of a lot cheaper than what I was previously quoted. I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to my teeth, even feeling the needle to numb my gums makes me cringe. I did not feel any pain at all. There was pressure and some pulling but at no time did I feel uncomfortable or pain. Huge thumbs up to Phoenix Dental Centre and Dr Liza Rozdestvenskaja.

Fantastic experience: After having the worst dental experience from another Dental Practice ever!!! i knew i still had to get my tooth ach sorted....I made an appointment with Pheonix House. Best decision i ever made!!! They were gentle, caring and absolutely amazing. A caring Consultation and reassurance that he's going to make this 98% pain-free. Sold! This experience has washed away so many dental fears....and guess what, I 100% didn't feel a bloody hing! Thank you so much Pheonix Dental yous were the bomb today!

Positive experience: The dentists I dealt with at PH were lovely, patient and exceeded my expectations. The receptionist, however, was rude, passive aggressive, and ignorant. The first time I dealt with her, I brushed her behaviour off as possibly ‘having a bad day’. However, as I came in for further treatment the only consistency she showed was discourtesy. As the first interaction, and really the face of their establishment, she was overwhelmingly disappointing. Especially with such lovely dentists. Her behaviour made me very discouraged to return to Phoenix House.

Fantastic experience: Saw me at short notice. Problem fixed the next day. Excellent.

Negative experience: Started off great, after orthdontics i was offered a plan would cost me a further $14000+ after doing extensive research I decided that I could go on a holiday, get my teeth finished, learn another culture, and probably gt a much better result for far less. After informing my then dentist, he was very rude towards me, he told me that it was rubbish, rubbish and that I was no longer a client there, and that he had plenty of clients. I never reacted, just requested my records said ok and walked out. For me, its my choice, my money, my teeth. They cancelled my hygenist appt and thats ok, there are plenty of other dentists and hygenists around. I work in the health industry so from one professional to another he needs to reflect on his attitude towards his clients. I would not recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend to everyone. Great practice. Extraction done pain free within minutes. And after care was painless aswell. Traits of a professional. Trustworthy aswell, Not just after your money. 100% recommend!!

Negative experience: Don't get dentures off Richard Ottley Said that mine were not centered he says no one's perfect... Every time I look at myself I see my teeth are not centered... Wish I'd gone somewhere else

Fantastic experience: Dr Dalila and her team at Phoenix House have done a magnificent job on my teeth, I can't thank them enough for the care and the service they provide! I work with a couple of people who went overseas to get their teeth fixed but you don't need to.....we have professionals right here in Whakatane and if you compare my smile with my workmates you will see the proof......my teeth are spectacular! Fantastic experience: Had my two lower wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and they made it a pleasant experience, the injection at the start is the worst part of the surgery but after that all you feel is a bit of pressure and maybe some vibrations, I was even told if I didn’t want the surgery done I could leave which made me feel a lot more comfortable. Recovery is quite painful, but at the end of the day a week of pain is better than half my bottom jaw being compromised from easily avoidable gum disease, at the end of the day I have no complaints and I’m glad it was done.

Negative experience: Not very happy with the dental work Richard Otley did on my son's front teeth. The roots to his teeth are now growing outwards. All in the name of not having to repeat acc work.

Positive experience: Got my teeth fixed up fast. Felt comfortable.
