Fantastic experience: Had a very troubled infected tooth.Was nervous going to another dentist having seen few others who tried to treat this tooth. DR Dennis Shepherd explained his plan,treatment.Now four months on after few treatments it's looking better than my first visit. Highly recommend Dr Dennis Shepherd if you need another opinion with positive outcome.

Fantastic experience: Traveling around the North Island, just arrived in Whangārei, needed an urgent visit to the dentist. Checked with Dr. Google and found Dr Dennis Shepherds website. I rang and spoke with Jazz, who was such a delight to speak with and provided the best customer service. As a result, an appointment was made and attended. On arrival, Jazz was very welcoming and put me at ease. I was then met by Dr. Dennis, who put me at ease, was very thorough, constantly informed me what he was doing and finding. I must say, for a person that went thru childhood trauma going to the dentist, and having a fear of going ever since, this would be the best experience I have ever had. I wish Dr. Dennis was in my hometown. If you're in Whangārei or just visiting and in need of the best dentist ever, I can't recommend Dr. Dennis Shepherd and Team highly enough. Thanks for everything you all did. It was much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Had a disastrous experience with my previous dentist. Was absolutely gutted but thanks to Dr Dennis shepherd he completely fixed my teeth and I can now smile again with complete confidence. By far the best dentist I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: I first met Dennis twenty years ago when he had the task and fixed my teeth to give that classic winning smile. Due to an aggressive bite a partial top plate comprising a front tooth and a couple of missing molars each side of the front tooth kept breaking which caused a lot of frustration at the time. Dennis put a dental re instatement repair plan in place on my top and bottom teeth, which included bridging, and implant work. Twenty years on and i am still rewarded with that winning smile, a true testament of work by a skilled professional. Thank you Dennis for putting the time, skill and knowledge, which i am truly grateful for to make it happen for me..

Fantastic experience: On a long haul flight from London to New Zealand an implant retained crown managed to come loose. I was super worried I wouldnt be able to find a dentist to look at it. Managed to find Rescue and they were able to slot to me in the first day I arrived. The problem was sorted quickly to my great relief! Very happy. Great service

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dennis Shepherd rescued me from severe gum disease in Jan. My gums were sore, swollen and bleeding and I had already been to see a hygienist, who cleaned them, but not much changed. Dennis preformed an amazing one hour gum treatment on me, which made my gums feel 100% better within 3 days. Three months later I'm still gum-disease-free and very grateful. I can highly recommend Dennis and his team. They were wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Bloody great place to go and get a filling. Felt a little embarrassed about the state of my teeth but felt I was not judged at all (unlike my gp who always tells me to stop smoking or I'll die). Fantastic experience: I met Dennis as a young dental student struggling to meet the stringent standards required to graduate as a general dentist in South Africa. Dennis at the time was specializing as a Prosthodontist and I had the very good fortune to be tutored and mentored by him. He has been my dentist for the past 30 odd years and I would simply not allow anyone else to manage my oral health. He is exceptionally skilled, very funny and infinitely kind.

Fantastic experience: I have never liked going to the dentist, in fact I’d rather give birth but I felt so comfortable going to Dennis.He and Karin were very professional with a great sense of humour and make you feel at ease. I had been mucked around in trying to get a replacement partial plate, until I let my fingers do the walking and referred to the yellow pages, I found the Rescue Dentist, it was explained right at the start what to expect and there was never any problem everything went really well and I am more than happy. Erin is fantastic out front and makes sure everything runs smoothly, great team to work with and highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: I had the good fortune to find Dr Dennis Shepherd following a bad experience with another dentist. The other dentist wanted to extract a tooth and gave me conflicting reason for that option. I felt the advice was not correct and Dennis worked his magic and saved the tooth. In the years that followed i have come to appreciate what a truly skillful and professional man he is. I have recommended Dennis to many of my friends who have received the same high level of care that I have received. You would be hard pressed to find a better dentist.

Positive experience: I met Dennis after a friend recommended him. Another dentist had botched a root canal about 6 years ago which split the tooth in half. Left unnoticed all this time it caused a massive hole in my jawbone! With only 1mm of living bone to work with, Dennis skillfully regrew the bone which allowed an implant to be fitted. I now have a very natural feeling tooth which feels exactly like a real tooth. Much better than having a gap for the rest of my life or messing around with dentures! I'm very happy with the result!
