Fantastic experience: The staff are absolutely lovely, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly from the moment you walk in. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really puts you at ease. The care was thorough and professional, and I left feeling well-informed and confident in the treatment I received. Couldn’t ask for a better dental experience!

Negative experience: ​Your Lumino plan doesn't work across clinics, so remember that or you'll ended up paying twice. The receptionist was lovely and she explained this, but I went in for a teeth cleaning and the hygienist used what she called a 'water and air' clean. I presume this is cause she is super lazy. My cleans at the CBD clinic are absolutely incredible, this was a joke. I will never go back to the clown college in Pukekohe again, it's a disgrace they charged me $160 for the crappiest clean I've ever had. Lumino standards of care aren't the same across the board, so go where you know. Lumino Auckland CBD is incredible but these clowns are useless, and I suppose that is reflected in their 2 star rating here.

Fantastic experience: I recently went to lumino dentist Pukekohe to get all 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Sanjay. I would highly recommend, he calmed my nerves and did them within like 20 minutes. Great dentist

Negative experience: The Invisalign plan is not recommended here. They charged me twice without informing price beforehand. This was regarding the retainers and the "follow up " appointment when wearing the retainer for 3 months. Terrible. When they told me this at the counter, I asked what this was for; I paid the plan off. They charged me for "having imaging." The dentist merely took photos with his camera and uploaded it to the Invisalign folder. Literally no benefit to me and had he mentioned a charge then I would not have been agreed... He charged hundreds for this and a 15 min appointment. I have contacted their feedback email and called Lumino but had no reply to the email. If I read a review like this before seeking treatment from here then I would never have gone. So many mishaps. I have not gone back for a checkup unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: I rang Lumino this morning after I broke a tooth on my denture. The receptionist advised I could bring it in straight away for a repair by their technician Marc. Within a mere couple of hours I had a text to advise the work was done. The price was minimal and both March and Caroline went above and beyond to help me. Most impressed and very grateful. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Just been to Lumino The Dentists in Pukekohe for my first ever filling at 38 years old. Until I was 27 I saw a dentist at least once a year. Then I had kids and doing things like the dentist dropped off the list of things to do. If I had continued to see a dentist regularly, I likely would not need this filling, so back to annual dentist visits and biannual visits with the hygienist. However, the positive today is I had an absolute amazing experience with Gurleen and Shirley. They were knowledgeable, kind, kept me informed of what was happening, plus I got a forehead massage and absolutely no pain during the procedure. While the wonderful Gail kept an eye out on my kids as they watched a movie. When I heard my youngest cry, Shirley dashed out to check on her and kept me updated on the kids. Plus hygienist Stephanine was amazing earlier this month too. So this is your reminder to a) priorities yourself you are important and/or b) book your dentist appointment as your regular health care. Dentist are not just for emergency care. Which means I highly recommend Lumino the Dentist in Pukekohe!

Fantastic experience: Hasani - gentle and methodical in her practice. I had a hygiene appointment with her and have left feeling very happy with my teeth and the service I received. Very thorough and explained everything she was doing so I felt very at ease. I will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Sanjay is an amazing dentist, currently going through my Invisalign treatment & need to come in for regular check ups, he always makes time for me and always explains stuff to me in a way I understand, he’s giving me my smile I’ve always wanted & for the dental assistants, you guys are amazing, always so welcoming and kind towards me. Would give more star rating if I could :)

Negative experience: I am so disappointed in this practice. It is now the 3rd time that I have booked an appointment way in advance, but when the day comes of my appointment, I am there on time but have to wait wait 30 - 45min for the dentist to even see me. This is extremely poor service so I won't be going back.

Negative experience: I was charged $141 for a 20 minute appt with the Hygienist - normally this would of been a 1 hour appt.

Fantastic experience: Arun is fantastic to deal with for my dental work. Explains what's required and no pressure applied to rush the process. His dental assistant is good value and always very friendly (can't remember her name, sorry) Louise the hygienist is also great to deal with for routine cleans. Highly recommend this dental practice

Negative experience: There are money suckers. They charged me over $400 for a checkup and useless consultation.

Negative experience: I was overcharged. Booked with special price available online. Before going I explained reception that I have toothache and they confirmed consultation is covered in special price available online. After checking my teeth the doctor asked for double the money explaining toothache patients are not covered. Obviously lost confidence and went to other dentist for further treatment.

Negative experience: Got to the clinic on time and had to wait 30 minutes during working hours (while on break) before seeing the dentist. After seeing the dentist, didn't receive a follow up and actually needed to ring up to ask for my x-ray (which was told to me that will be sent). The pricing of the consultation is way above the average in the area but this clinic was the only one with availability. Will not be coming back there.

Negative experience: Been there to clean my tooth, Sanjay suggest me tooth seems okay but you need filling upper tooth. I agreed he charged me 450$ for filling. I never had pain before in my tooth but after filling I got sore tooth, i been there and see dentist thrice after filling my tooth. He grind the filling twice and He suggest me to eat pain killers. I spent another 50$ on pain killer. It’s been almost 4 weeks now I have seen him 4th time and now he said for extraction he will charge me 300$ and for clean the same tooth and refill it 1200$. It’s dentist’s fault, he didn’t do filling properly and he asking me to pay him more money to fix this problem created by him. I would suggest everyone, get in written from dentist if the problem will not fix after treatment you don’t need to pay anything.

Fantastic experience: Pukekohe Lumino offered the best customer service. My dentist Sanjay is very professional and gave me back my smile I always wanted. Highly recommended. Affordable . Go the extra mile. Found my dentist. Will go back highly recommended. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Lumino in Pukekohe has been top notch. The professional approach, friendly without being familiar, makes it so. Time taken by my dentist to explain various steps, along with appropriate post procedure care for me to follow also much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My dentist did a really great job. He gave me a choice of two different treatment options. He was as gentle as possible administering the anaesthetic, and made sure the area was properly numb before commencing the procedure. While doing the treatment he made me feel as comfortable as possible, asking if I was ok, and telling me that I was doing really well. Even though I'm terrified of dental treatment he actually made me feel at ease. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back to see him again.
