Fantastic experience: Got my lip filler done today by the lovely Cosmetic nurse Vanessa. Client care was 10/10, explained everything so well and detailed! Will definitely be back again for her services Highly recommend!

Negative experience: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DISHONEST!! LIE TO CUSTOMER, DISGUSTING!! I noticed on their website that they got a 50% off deal so i quickly called them to ask for more information as well as making an appointment. The lady who talked to me on the call has a super heavy accent that makes it hard for me to understand so I kindly n patiently asked her to repeat what she said and she was annoyed n raised her voice at me, she over speaking me and did not give me the information I asked for (ofc because she didn't let me finished my question). I understand it could be hard to talk on the phone so i said to her it's ok I'll come n make an appointment in person tomorrow and she told me "Whatever you like but the deal will be ended by 12 tonight if you don't book now and even you if come tmr we won't be able to do anything for you". On the day after I still saw the deal on. Thanks to her horrible service I'm never ever gonna come to this branch!

Fantastic experience: For as long as I can remember I’ve had a birthmark like mark on my back, which had a visibly black and dark hair growth patch over it. This is no longer the case and it’s all thanks to the team at The Cosmetic Clinic in Sylvia Park especially Mayuri. I use to ask mum for laser treatment as a teenager but Mum said no (fair enough as it was expensive in the 1990s) so to be able to finally get it down at 42 and for the hair to no longer be there feels like a dream come true as I was always quite conscious of it. Now the birthmark like mark has also faded! Remarkable!! The Cosmetic Clinic is affordable and they have regular discount deals, the facilities are fantastic for certain too.

Negative experience: I went to the Cosmetic Clinic for laser hair removal and they told me I had hyperpigmentation (I didn’t but at the time I thought they knew what they were doing) so I bought the 12 pack of chemical peel and microdermabrasion sessions that they said would help fix it. They burned my face so bad I had told her to stop and they let me walk out of there without a word, didn’t even mention the burn. There was literally plasma coming out all over my face. I struggled with scars for months and still can’t fix my skin barrier. RESPONSE EDIT: No this was the location that gave me chemical burns. It was your staff member Caroline. I still have all the receipts for the packages I paid for saying it was this location.

I’ve been politely turned down for my laser appointment today because they took the time to do their due diligence. I’ve been exposed under the sun and going ahead with the laser treatment was incredibly risky. They explained to me the situation and the risks, and I respect that they did it graciously without judgment. I appreciate the fact that staff take their customers’ safety very seriously. Negative experience: My partner and I went for a consultant. A lady came to give advice. while talking to her she look in hurry. She not have any presentation for what service you guys have and when I ask for what type of botox brand do you have? She said it’s all on website and try to guide me to look on website. Actually I have been on your website and that’s why I make an appointment to go in for consultation and you have to presenting and make a sell right? The consulting went very fast and After walk out I feel that the staff not even care much or encouraging me to go there. So I am searching to look somewhere else that they give a good advise and trust to do with them. Staff need training indeed.

Positive experience: BE CAREFUL OF SNEAKY EXTRA CHARES!!! I’ve been going here for a year now for Brazilian and the ladies are amazing. Every single time I’ve been coming here to get my Brazilian done the ladies always ask if I wanted my back side done which I say yes to (as this is part of Brazilian package I had bought) Today I went in for my session and was asked if I wanted my back side done like they always do, which again I said yes to. I walked out of the room to book in my next apt and was told I needed to pay $25, I asked for what, the lady said to for getting my back side done? I tried telling the lady this was never been an extra charge however she said it’s the new policy that backside is not included in Brazilian, which I told her I was never aware of the new changes and I shouldn’t be charged for it. She then said “i asked you if you wanted the backside done” like any other sessions I’ve been to. I am very disappointed. if there’s going to be changes, customers should be made aware of it!! Had to pay extra $25 for no reasons! Never going there again.

Positive experience: Was concerned about hygiene practices when I went in today. The cover on bed had hairs from a previous person and only when I pointed it out was it changed. Coming from Clear skin, TCC feels rushed and like a factory for people to be processed. I hope hygiene standards are raised here so I feel safe to keep going.

Negative experience: Disappointed! Very! 1) 1 was always with Eastridge mission bay, somehow they closed down in such short notice (like one week)… my record has been moved to Sylvia park automatically …the system didn’t have my accurate records with all remaining treatments … I was very DISAPPOINTED. I had to call internationally to Australia talk to the main office. It clearly should be clear skin clinic responsibility to transfer customer information correctly! 2) I had the appointment made in Sylvia park , the staff called me when customer is ONE minute late , it was unbelievable! I told her nicely I was just parking my car etc. walked in all staffs had no smile, like attending a funeral! Honestly I wonder if any staff had any type of training ??? I wish the shop franchisee / owner can see my review value my feedback! Just unbelievable bad experience!

Negative experience: They insisted I buy after laser care cream from them I must have said no at least twice but they were quite persistent and not taking no for an answer either I buy a 70$ cream to use for 3 days or pay 50 $ for shaving which I did myself the day before but cuz I booked full body and couldn't shave my own back ( only fine hairs in my back) they insisted I'll pay 50 $ if I didn't purchase the cream which I been told by the therapist which said I won't say I took out fine hairs from your back by razor if you bought the cream. I was quite shocked and appalled by the dishonesty and persistence and arrogance I had to endure by one of the two ladies telling me she wouldn't be responsible for non optimal results if I didn't buy that cream despite telling her it wasn't my first time doing it I was very uncomfortable and felt punished for not buying it. If she felt that actually did the shaving ( which she didn't) she wouldn't have to secretly bargain/blackmail me to. either buy the cream or pay the shaving

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Mayuri during my facial session last Tuesday 02-July-2024. She explained each step and procedure thoroughly, demonstrating a personal touch and evident passion for her work. Her skillful hands and gentle approach during both the facial and laser treatments were remarkable. I was so relaxed during the facial that I almost fell asleep. She is truly talented and I highly recommend her!

Positive experience: I purchased acne peel on their website and called them to confirm the booking together with consultation. The whole treatment process made me uncomfortable. Starting with the junior consultant asking about the skincare that i used and spots treatment that i used for my acnes without first explaining the reason for the questions. She then proceed to tell me that i can’t do the treatment cause i need to use some products for my acnes (this was not present in the pre-treatment care on the website neither was i being told about this on the phone). I insists for the treatment cause i had already used spot treatment, it was just not from theirs and when i mentioned about the absence of this in its pre-treatment, she gets defensive by saying that this is a practice done in all skin clinic. I did end up getting the peel done after she consulted with her senior though. Upon treatment, she was asking if i feel stinging or burning and i did not feel it yet right after (note that this is not the first time i’m doing chemical peel so i have built some level of tolerance. I did feel the sting after some time). However, she made a sudden remarks that if i really did use spots treatment, i would feel the sting instantly. It sounded to me as if she was implying that i hadn’t been truthful. In all fairness, i did sign the waiver form and that remark is not a friendly thing to say. After the treatment, she asked if i felt burning anywhere and i said i was alright apart from some sort of sting in my eyes from the vapour. Again, she gets defensive and said that she did not rub the chemical on my eyes so i should not feel that. It doesn’t feel safe for me to tell my conditions if the consultant is responding the way she is. Honestly, the treatment was fine, she did a great job in the peeling procedures but i do feel the customer service and communication could have been better. Cheers

Negative experience: Bit disappointing these past 2 weeks - especially with waiting times. Had an appointment on Monday and took time off work Monday and Tuesday so my face could heal before going back to work. Over 15 mins past my appointment time I was told I would have to reschedule as there was not enough time to do the session I booked due to some other clients being late in the morning. I understand things happen but it would have been better to be told by reception instead of sitting in the waiting area for almost 30 minutes. The staff who told me was nice and apologetic, and we rebooked but my new appointment time is 2 weeks away which isn't great. Since I couldn't do the microneedling this week, I booked for an express microdermabrasion on Thursday, thinking it might be a nice refresher before going on a trip this weekend. On Tuesday I called reception and asked that since it is only an express microdermabrasion, would it be fine to wax my upper lip. Was told it would be fine as it's not as invasive as the 10 step treatment. Arrived at my appointment on Thursday, once again was called 15 minutes past my appointment time, no real apologies given - was being rushed. Was told that the treatment was not recommended due to waxing my upper lip 2 days prior. Completely different from what reception told me. Decided not to go through to the appointment since the technician also advised it'd be better when my some of my active acne goes down (which I agree with, so it's good that she was knowledgeable) but still disappointed about the waxing situation. Usually I have a good experience here but what's the point of making appointments when the times aren't being stick to.

Negative experience: I had 18 face laser hair removal sessions and did not get a good results.they could not line up evenly the left and right side of my neck lines. I complained about it and they told me I have to pay for corrections! I can not believe that I wasted my money and time! Dont want get frustrated again with this old lady and I moved on…

Negative experience: ***This is to respond the reply from the Clinic underneath. I didn't receive any emails from you to communicate about the event. Are you sure you sent it to the correct customer? I accepted they taken another client when I was few minutes late, my point is your staff at front desk shall communicate about the expectations of waiting time, you said 20min is standard - I didn't learn that from her. Instead, I waited 40+ minutes and still been told won't be long. I believe the customer's well-being shall be matter in your service too. I didn't see the care was delivered at the reception. Please show me your recording - it's not true of me shouting to your staff, you can lie to blame your customers solely and try to shut them up to speak up the authentic service experience, instead, think about your training to the front desk staff should be your long-term business benifits solutions. I will not remove this comment about how I feel truly that day of your service. *** The communication of the staff at front desk needs improvement. I had my appointment usually can be done in 5 minutes. Because of the Christmas traffic, I was 3 minutes late, they've taken another client - which probably was understandable. The problem is they should let me know when I get there, the girl at reception (Rose) told me to wait, it won't be long. I did asked three times got same answer, until 40 minutes later when I asked again! If I knew at the right beginning the expectation is to wait 40 minutes, I would reschedule and walk away to do my Christmas chores not wasted my time there and get stressed about losing time for other chores.

Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10 would recommend getting your laser done by the newest member of the Sylvia park cosmetic clinic! Her passion and excitement for her role shines through her and into her work. She done an amazing thorough job, and made me feel completely comfortable and like I was in good hands. Fantastic experience: Mayuri did an amazing job with my LHR!! She was super thorough and she didn't miss even one bit of my body!! She zapped every part i wanted and i can't thank her enough for being so thorough and knowledgable! There was a staff sick so were running behind schedule but i did not feel rushed AT ALL - although Mayuri hadn't had lunch yet, she took her time with me and i truly appreciate her for it. I've had numerous LHR before and Mayuri is the first who i felt didn't rush the procedure. All the staff i've had at Slyvia Park have been lovely actually, but just got to thank Mayuri for being super detail orientated and paying attention to every zap by changing intensity and making sure i am ok and asking if i needed a break etc. Appreciated the advice and she was super nice as well so THANK YOU Mayuri!

Fantastic experience: i got 2x laser and had to rush back overseas. they let me use my remaining cash as a credit for a different procedure. professional, quick service, they know what they're doing. great experience. convenient at Sylvia park so plenty of parking etc.

Negative experience: I would urge caution to those considering this branch. I called to reschedule my appointment 2 days prior, but I was confronted by a very rude receptionist who put me on hold multiple times to an unattended line, refused to reschedule my appointment, and told me to keep calling back until someone else picks up if I wish to speak to someone else. After wasting my lunch break on hold, I emailed a complaint to the store and the owner did not acknowledge the abuse I received and went on to say it must've been a communication breakdown since it was somehow apparent to her that English was my second language ‍♀️ Now I'm going through the HDC and Head Office to get a refund for the prepaid treatments I don't want to go back there for, as the owner refuses anything but a credit towards purchasing more products. I've already spent $124 on products that I don't like to use and $756 on a treatment series I can't finish because I feel that my rights to a basic level of respect as a person has been violated with racist assumptions of the owner and intolerably rude attitude of staff. I wouldn't prepay for any series here - refunds aren't going to be as easy as expected if anything goes wrong. Just look at the owner's responses to other negative feedback - this should give you an indication that customer satisfaction isn't their forte. Update: I did not irrationally scream, I was the one being irrationally yelled at at bluntly refused help, then laughed at while I was being put on an unattended line. The owner always accuses anyone who provides a factual account of rude service of screaming and yelling and is incapable of accepting any responsibility. Again, just look through the reviews - it is littered with comments of racism and shocking treatment. I never received a refund, and was told to remove my review while continuing to be harassed even publicly. Absolute nightmare - her responses alone make it clear that she has no issues distressing and harassing customers and you will never get a refund no matter what happens. For a well established brand in NZ, it’s shocking that customers are abused in this way and nobody cares.

Negative experience: Anni and carla and other manager lady is very rude. Don't go there very rude.. They are lier and I called them on Tuesday at 6:25pm 7th march and I have booked an appointment for Saturday 5 pm and when I called at 4:30pm on Saturday for confirmation,but they have cancelled my appointment without my consent or they never booked me in. . I live in Hamilton and came Auckland to attend my appointment only because I have bought 6 sessions so I have to finish at the same clinic but staff is very rude not letting me speak or giving any other appointment for the next day. They not adjusting me for thier own mistake. on top of it not giving any discounts I spend $80 on patrol and she wasthreatening me for giving them a call that means customer should not call them if clinic cancelled your appointment without consent.. how rude.. useless clinic..I will tell my all friend to not got there.

I was surprised at how fast the results were after my first session. Experience: The nature of my treatment means it’s an ongoing relationship and I am so relieved I chose The Cosmetic Clinic. My experience with Candace has been nothing short of professional and thorough! It’s the kind of care you want from a Technician. Positive experience: Not as good as it used to be. Now it is no different to laser clinics. Very average experience and not great experience with upper lip laser. They used to get you to move your tongue so the skin stretches, making upper lip less painful. Then they used to always provide ice after which was a really nice touch. That is why I chose Cosmetic Clinic over Laser Clinics but now it doesn't really matter where I go.

Fantastic experience: Last year I had horrible experience during my laser treatment. Staff member made me cry, yelled at me then ran from the room slamming the door and leaving me by myself. This was beyond words unprofessional and totally unacceptable behavior. Never in my life I’ve been humiliated like this !!! For certain I would leave and never come back. However, at the same time I started my facial treatments with Orika, she was so incredibly amazing and I stayed! Hands down she is the best beauty therapist I’ve ever been to. Every time I would get consistent, quality service. Her extensive knowledge and skills are truly unmatched. To top this all up, Orika always makes you feel welcome, it’s like visiting a good friend. And now I am very sadden she is leaving. I can not thank her enough for the most relaxing and amazing time I had !!! She will be undeniably the greatest asset to her new beauty clinic !!! Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for a few months and while all of the staff are friendly and professional, Ellie in particular is amazing. Always positive and friendly, she takes the time to make sure I'm comfortable and we're on the same page about what I want from this and future treatments. Fantastic experience: I have had Laser Hair Removal treatment in two different places in the past and this is the first time I feel like the laser technician really takes their time and do it properly - not missing any spots.
