Negative experience: I have been left with sizable bruises on my face after the complete incompetence of one of the injectors as well as complete ignorance to what I had asked for in the first place. The only thing I can positively remark on is that they were able to make an appointment last minute which also shows me the lack of repeat clientele perhaps due to this issue in the first place when I asked immediately afterwards about the bruising and bumps on my face which I have not had in the past whatsoever in the last 10 years of getting Botox, is that it will be gone by the time I get back to the car and as you can see from the photos below six days later they are worse than ever. Not only was me with a completely ignorant manager who simply threw the terms and conditions back at me without having a result in mind as I'm not in the country The only suggestion that was made was to come back in. I'm sure so that they could just tell me that this is a minor side effects instead of the lack of skill I would say be really careful before choosing a chain cosmetic clinic for your Botox. I was in and out in 10 minutes without her listening to my consultation taking $615 from me and leaving me with a bruised and swollen face.

Fantastic experience: Shailja Rana is just exceptionally good at what she's doing. I knew from our first session that I was gonna keep asking for her from then on. I've had 2 different treatments with her, microdermabrasion & peel, 3 sessions, never disappointed. She remembered my skin progress, where and when I'm travelling overseas to, without having me reminded her after a month. I've had not good experience with another staff since 2023 that she kept asking about my skincare products, then regardlessly promoting the clinic's products & services. This made me feel like I was being robbed and it's really uncomfortable. Shailja on the other hand, tailored the treatment for me, recommended the active ingredient by itself, and even recommended I change from Reju peel (higher price) to Acne or Pigmentation peel (lower price) instead because my skin was breaking out with acne at the time. I saw the honesty in her work, that what made me keep coming back for her service.

Negative experience: If you are Asian read my review .I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic I read the reviews and decided to go but completely disappointed.I completed 12 hair removal sessions, and unfortunately, I saw no difference . Totally waste of money I spend more than $1200 As someone with Asian skin and fast hair growth, I feel their treatments were not effective or suitable for my skin type. In fact, certain areas were completely missed during sessions, and I have original hairs still after 12 sessions which was extremely frustrating. Even after the 12th session, my hair started growing back within two weeks — especially on my underarms and legs. It felt like I had barely done anything. I didn’t notice any difference in areas like my arms, where I never even saw a reduction in hair. I also purchased some of their skincare products, including sunblocks, and regret doing so. I developed severe eyelid eczema and experienced major skin irritation. It took a long time to recover, and it really painful for me and when I stopped using products then I feel better Whenever I talked to nurse they just explain weird things Pics are attached show the results after 2 weeks Overall, I would not recommend this clinic, especially if you have Asian skin or are expecting lasting results. It was a waste of time and money, and I hope they improve their services and products to be more inclusive and effective

Fantastic experience: Had the high-performance microdermabrasion (my fourth one) … Excellent treatment, as usual. Skin felt like clear, smooth and refreshed afterwards. I also wanted to give a special mention to Shanti, who was my aesthetician - she was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and wonderful to talk to. Shanti explained the process and steps as we were going & the benefits. She also answered some questions I had about my skin care routine (as I have switched to the Balense range). I appreciated the experience so much more purely because of her and how friendly, knowledgeable and helpful Shanti was. Definitely worth recognition and wanted to make mention of it and send a little special thank you. Thank you Shanti - you made the treatment even better. :)

Today i met with Shanti who took me through my (free) first hair laser consultation. Shanti is absolutely lovely, very honest going through the dos and donts and explaining the ‘Why’ brought understanding and trust for me so that i will achieve the best results possible. Great to know and see Shantis results through her hair removal journey, always comforting when someone can sell what they believe in through their own personal testimony.Im looking forward to my first hair removal session and then sharing another review halfway and at the end of my journey.

The woman working are well trained, friendly and kind. I enjoy the flexibility of the treatments that appear to compliment each other in different ways. I particularly think the ageless peel is beneficial and love the effect it gives my complexion. I recently viewed a profile pic when I was in my 50's. It reflected a life well lived and not so well lived. Heavily lined around the mouth and dull. Now at 63 after treatment and products from North City Cosmetic clinic the lines are still there but appear softer, calmer and not visible. The products go hand in hand with the treatments are light, very hydrating and affordable in comparison with others on the market. Thank you cosmetic clinic Porirua. I am a mature woman and my skin reflects our generations ignorance around sun damage and its effects. I have returned from my treatment earlier feeling relaxed and my skin feels and looks wonderful. Thank you Rachel for taking me under your wing and talking me through what the treatments involved. I received the microdermabration with a Led light therapy add on. The boxing day specials made it affordable and I booked another treatment with the same discount. I am still enjoying visiting the woman at the Cosmetic Clinic every 5 weeks. Mostly enjoy the flexibility of the treatments and being able to purchase the products when need and budget allows me. The staff are very professional and relaxed. I see my visits as a health treat .
