Negative experience: Made appt for two area Injectable package, as usually get between 28-30 units botox in two areas. Injector running nearly 25 mins late for appt so felt rushed - was told in room 30 units of Botox were going to be used and paid for treatment. After leaving, realised I’d been charged for more than 30 units (and two area package). Contacted clinic, Lee phoned back and said she’d used more around eyes so extra payment correct. Was confused about this, as this wasn’t what was discussed in room, but accepted her response. Two weeks later still noted movement on left side between brows so booked a review. Was told I’d have to pay more for topup over left brow as dysport can migrate (thought I’d been treated with Botox), also advised I'd now also need forehead treated as well, to achieve look I was after. Paid more money to have forehead done and frown area topped up. Not sure if the initial result was due to injectors placement or technique, but felt a little ripped off by this whole experience. Have never experienced this before, nor since going to another injector.

Negative experience: I recently had Botox for my forehead at Newmarket clinic. After the initial treatment, I was not satisfied with the results as it didn’t achieve the smooth and firm look I was hoping for. I returned for a follow-up appointment, where they used Dysport instead of Botox, but again, the results didn’t meet my expectations. While the lines on my forehead were slightly reduced, the results were not as expected and did not fully eliminate the wrinkles. I went to them in person and also emailed multiple times, requesting a refund for the $375 I paid. I explained that I was unhappy with the results and no longer wanted to continue with further treatments. However, they only refunded a small portion of the amount, which I felt was insufficient. I wasn’t asking for a refund because of the money, but because I felt my concerns were not being taken seriously. I was expecting the results I had previously received with Botox from other places, but this time, the treatment did not deliver. I feel disappointed by the lack of attention to my needs and the unsatisfactory outcome. I had hoped for a full refund, not just a partial one, given the results did not meet the promised expectations. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience in the cosmetic clinic Newmarket last Sunday I had the rejuvenated medi peel like this was the first time I was going to take any face treatment before that I took the free consultation and the therapist told me that it’s a good like what I just want the glowing skin so she suggested me you need to bought three products and apply it on your face for almost 2 weeks so I did the same and booked the appointment after 2 weeks. On the day of appointment I was so excited because I am going to take any face treatment for the first time on the day of appointment I got a call from the clinic that the nurse or their therapist not available whom I took the consultation so other therapist or nurse whatever they call is available so I said that’s fine because I thought everyone is professional in the clinic so I went their on my appointment time and took the rejuvenated peel it hardly took 5 to 7 minutes for the process after the treatment I ask for post care and she just told me about no exercise or all that I clearly ask when I can wash my face after few minutes she said tonight you can wash your face even I clearly ask her when she said after 5 hours you can wash you face and use the same products what I was using for pre care I said ok but I heard about they give a recovery cream but she clearly said you don’t need this just apply moisturiser and sun screen so I gone and almost 10 at night I wash my face and apply the moisturiser because I feel irritation on my face and the whole night i felt irritating and itching on my face when I woke up next morning my face got red rashes I have to wear a mask the whole day at job every body asked me what happened to you are you alright I have to hide my face instead of glowing skin I got rashes. Next morning because I work in the same Westfield Newmarket I went there on my break so I talk to their manager and told her everything that I took the treatment yesterday and this is what I got on my face that you guys ruin my face that I have to wear a mask to hide my face then she asked me what you have applied on your face I told her that what your nurse told me to do so I washed my face at night and apply the same brightning moisturiser you guys gave me for pre care and I got this rashes she asked me that the nurse didn’t give me the recovery cream I said no even I ask for recovery cream and she said no just apply moisturiser and spf so I did the same then the manager told me because of brightening moisturiser you got rashes then she gave me recovery cream and put my face under LED light for 30 minutes she said thanks for your feedback and she gave me the pre and post care some paper and asked me is the nurse give this to you I said no and it clearly say don’t touch water or ice to your face upto 12 hours and I washed my face after 5 hours as their nurse told me like the nurse who did my treatment was so unprofessional she even didn’t know the post care what she told me and as a result I got rashes I wasted all my money what I just want glowing skin then their manager gave me 1 or 2 led light booking I told them I want refund or another good face treatment not a peel she was busy at that time after the led treatment the other nurse told me that the manager is busy but she will give you call it’s been one week still no phone call. I am still using their product because I already spend 3 to 400 dollars on products and treatment with no results till 1 week I got dry skin and irritated skin thanked god I didn’t got scars on my face but whose responsible for all this their unprofessional staff .

Positive experience: I have been to this place for laser and micro needling sessions for two years, it is a mixed experience. The result of the treatment is quite good but I feel like the management can be better and they should give better training to the staff. I used to have micro needling with Katie and then she left to AU, the new girl who did the session didn't read the historical records of my treatment at all. I am doing needling on my left leg because of a scar from an accident and she thought I am doing needling for my face. I was quite shocked on how they let the new people doing the session without any handover. Then Grace became the therapist of my micro needling, she is really good, highly recommend her if you want to do micro needling. Also, some therapist use mask after the needling but some don't, not sure why they are doing it differently. The therapist who did my laser also keep changing. For the last last session, the therapist gave me the sun glasses instead of the goggles saying they started to use the glasses because it is more comfortable. But then my last session another therapist gave me goggle again, so I asked her why. She kept saying that she cannot work against the protocol blah blah blah and I just cannot make her understand that I had different experience with the previous therapist. I just don't understand why they doing it differently. On this Wednesday I called to check if they can do price match. The girl who picked up the phone call put me on hold to confirm then said they can. They process my payment through the phone, and after two minutes called me back said they cannot, and ask for my CC number to process the payment. What a waste of the time. Hope they can give better training to their new staff.

Negative experience: The people who worked that are great, Lee is very nice and friendly . I didn't have the result I wanted and was hopping for. Previous that I only had one treatment in another clinic in Whangarei they applied 60 units of Dyspot it was perfect, I couldn't see any wrinkles at all and I couldn't move my forehead much. I Wwent to try this place because the previous one was to far away. It cost me 500 dol for 100 units of Dyspot I went there after 15 days f the first application and my muscles were basically the same, she applied another 20 units to make sure I had the result I want. After another 15 days I went back and the result still not like the way I expected. The muscles on my front head still very active and I can see the lines. She said it looks very natural, but I want want look natural otherwise I won't get it done. I feel like they putted 2 times more units and the result should be way better. Sorry but I won't go back . Thats my experience.

Negative experience: Called because we were late by 10 minutes - fair enough, our fault for being late. However the person on the phone was rude and condescending, and hung up the phone abruptly. Just seems they could have been a bit more professional.

Fantastic experience: Incredible & lovely experience! I went to use my Canadian credit card to pay (since I'm not eligible an an NZ credit card prior to obtaining residency). The card became blocked by the Canadian bank and the manager at the clinic, James, was very patient and kind allowing me to leave with a promise to pay the remaining funds from my NZ bank account the following week. The ladies at the front desk were also very lovely & patient while I was stuck on the phone with the bank. I've had a couple services done at this clinic and I highly recommend Nikki who does wonderful facial dermal filler!

Negative experience: I would give zero stars for their customer service. Initially, I was told the nearest skin consultation appointment for a laser treatment was three months and ten days from now. After I expressed my frustration, they offered me a consultation in a month, but the next available appointment for the treatment would still be three months and ten days later. It's so ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: I had my lips done yesterday with Lee and I cannot recommend her enough. I had perviously had my lips done somewhere else and wasn’t happy with the results. Lee is so knowledgeable and listened to everything I wanted and my concerns. She walked me through the process and really talked through everything throughly, overall I’m so happy with my results and I will defiantly be in again. Thanks Lee you’re amazing.

Negative experience: Horrendous service. I did arrive at the counter late - 7 minutes - due to after work traffic and lost in the building. They called me like the 6 minute telling me condescendingly that they’ll move my appointment to another day. I said I wouldn’t mind shorten the treatment slightly. Yes 7 minutes, that’s the exact minutes i showed late at the counter. I would have expected that the room is already set up but no they did not start like they weren’t expecting a customer anyway in that few minutes. Set up takes another 5mins, chitchat takes 3mins (asking me about skin concerns) before the start. Those minutes could have been saved on the treatment. They didn’t ask me which steps I’d like to keep shorter. They omitted the extraction step which is most related to my concern congestion(why ask what my concerns are if you aren’t going to do anything about it? Again how about saving those minutes for actual treatment). I guess it takes most efforts aye? Never going back to this branch again. Queen St team is way better. Maybe time to consider changing vendor altogether

Fantastic experience: The service attitude of the staff is much better than the other Newmarket laser hair removal shop! The laser hair removal technology is also far superior to The Cosmetic Clinic Melbourne Chadstone branch. This shop has made me, who moved from Melbourne to Auckland, feel the warmth of Auckland.

Negative experience: I was surprised at the service I received as I've had an amazing experience with the head office team at TCC. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist gave me a time. When I arrived I was told that the nurse wasn't in and I didn't have an appointment, the person I spoke to didn't apologise for the mistake the receptionist had made, and then booked me for another date. I was told calling to book doesn't always work due to a 'new system' but when I asked how I should book in the future, she said I should call. She also told me I should have received a confirmation email, and then realised the reason I hadn't was to do with a system issue at their end. Again, no apology. Making mistakes is absolutely fine, it's how you respond that shows the customer what is important. I've since booked at Sylvia Park who have very helpful and friendly team.

Positive experience: I had paid for a 10 session package. But due to unforeseen circumstances I had to relocate to Australia.TCC due to a policy did not refund me the package earlier but after revisiting the situation a couple months later, I got a refund to continue my treatments in Australia. I had to pause my treatments because of the move and financial issues, which resulted in my hair growth getting back to normal. So my two cents is that its important to continue the necessary amount of treatments to maintain the hair growth reduction.

Fantastic experience: I use to go to the Sylvia CC, but one day as a spur of moment booked a walk in injectable appointment here and got assigned to Lee as my injector. This was a year ago and I have never looked back since then. Literally, hands down the BEST injector I’ve been to by far. Willing to always travel into Newmarket to see her no matter what. She always knows EXACTLY what to do, very informative and very, very sweet. Easy to talk to as well so I’ve always felt comfortable expressing my concerns and what I am after and what I may want to do differently for any future appointments. That aside, she’s also prompt with replying with any questions I may have after the appointment when I reach out to her. All in all an absolute 10/10 , could not recommend her anymore ! The best in the game and for good reason. I am always left satisfied and happy and even that is an understatement!!!

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone, this review will be little long. Thanks for your patience for reading to the end. I’m a guy. As I’m getting older, specifically on my face and somewhere on my body, I notice ingrown hair problems. Photo #1 is what my ingrown hairs look like. Normally, if I have ingrown hairs, first I will go to the skincare’s products department to ask for help. The facial exfoliators include physical and chemical products. I tried a lot of face scrub brands including the cheaper options from the supermarket to the more expensive products from beauty salons, but the ingrown hair problems were still there. So, I went to a skin specialist to ask for some treatments, but the doctor gave me the advice that when shaving, try not to shave the beard too cleanly, leave some beard over skin (I think it’s difficult to do it) and use scrubs too. The problem is that when the hair grows, it is already under my skin and very difficult to remove. My skin is the oily type. I can’t wait for the ingrown hair to slowly come out of my skin, because most of the time the ingrown hair in the skin pore gets infected. Even if there is no infection, there will be a small lump that pops out of my skin. When I stab the lump, white puss comes out with the ingrown hair. Quite often the ingrown hair grows in same area again and again. Sometimes when I take one ingrown hair off on my face, soon after there will be a second and third came out of the same pore one by one. It’s like one long ingrown hair broken into several parts. Early in 2022, I discovered face or beard sculpting laser treatment. So, I tried this face hair laser removal service. I was hoping it would control or remove my ingrown hairs on my face. In my case it’s working. Photo #2 was taken after I had done 10 treatments, and now my skin is getting smooth, and my ingrown hair problem has gone. I want to say a special thanks to Katie (store manager), who did the laser treatments for me. Katie and her staff have patience and good skills so that the laser doesn’t hurt my face too much. Before the treatment, Katie will use a face wash to wash my face and dry my face afterwards. It’s good that the cosmetic clinic provides everything from makeup removal and cleanser to recovery cream. In my case, doing the hair laser removal on my face feels a bit different to other parts of my body. It can feel a bit of uncomfortable, but it’s acceptable. After the treatment, my face recovery time takes a bit longer. When I began the treatment, I did it every two weeks for the first six times, then I had a break. After that, I did the treatment once per a month for a while. Now, I do the treatment very six weeks. For the male that has the ingrown hair laser treatment, healthy hair (beard) around the ingrown hair area will be removed too. If you are guys that want to do the treatment, please think about this. If you have tried a lot of different scrubs to solve the ingrown hair problem, but you are still unhappy with the result, try hair laser treatment. You will probably find it’s an easy way to remove ingrown hairs. (Photo #2). I chose the cosmetic clinic (Newmarket), because, based on my experience, their staff are friendly and easy to talk to, plus you can earn rewards points too. I hope my review can help you. Thanks.

She makes the sessions relaxed and comfortable, and I’m always welcomed with a friendly smile. Fantastic experience: I’ve had Nelly for my sessions and her service is amazing! She took the time out to conduct a skin scan and suggested the best products for my skin concerns which shows that she truly cares about her customers. Negative experience: I came to the cosmetic clinic for lip filler, Botox and laser treatment on facial veins. They recommended an entire new skin care routine that was 4x the price of the laser (not a problem but not what I wanted) but I trusted their advice as they seemed to be a really trust worthy company. I ended up getting the Botox and filler too. Long story short I was allergic to the lip filler and to all the skincare. That part is not their fault. The part that left me extremely dissatisfied was that they kept recommending me to stick with the skincare for a month even though my face physically hurt from how much it stung. This caused so much damage! The injector didn’t pay any attention to the fact I was in absolute agony during the lip filler (I’m great with needles) and time and time again said there was nothing wrong with the filler. I was allergic and had it been dissolved sooner would have saved me so much time/pain. The combination of the skincare and lip filler left my face looking so bad I was ashamed to leave my house for months, and the loss of wages due to my appearance was unbelievable. Coming here was honestly the biggest mistake. Would give zero stars if I could. The franchise owner also made me feel like a burden when I just wanted to not be in pain.. Edit: I was not happy with the outcome in February at all, I was happy with Dr Patti as she fixed what your own injectors couldn’t and she felt sympathy for my pain, unlike anyone at the cosmetic clinic Newmarket. Multiple reviews with both nurses wouldn’t have been necessary had I been listened to in the first one. As for the ‘organised appointment’ with the national brand of injectables, you literally gave me a couple hours notice to attend. Had I known the day before or even in the morning that day I would have made it.

Fantastic experience: I love it here. Nelly is my go too. I’ve been through a few ladies here all lovely, however I lovvveeee Nelly. I can tell she really takes her time and does things properly. I have to say for one of my microdermabrasion sessions the lady forgot to steam and just felt really rushed. Nelly takes her time and I can tell makes sure that I get the full experience. I appreciate it and it makes me want to go in more.

Fantastic experience: I paid for 6 treatments for three areas and now have 2 left. Prior to coming to The Cosmetic Clinic, I had gone to another clinic and had several laser treatments and had seen no change whatsoever and was sadly disappointed. I didn't have much hope coming to The Cosmetic Clinic at first but was extremely amazed at the results after my very first treatment. The hair had not grown back at all after the first initial treatment right until my next one. I have absolutely loved every single session here as I have seen and experienced fantastic results at great prices too.They have the most friendly and welcoming staff at New Market as I'm pretty sure I have been seen by most of the ladies here and all have been nothing but amazing! Positive experience: Had my lasers done here before, service was so far so good. However I went in for a skin consultation today, lady who served me said she was unqualified for providing any specific peel treatment info and wanted to book me with another technician. Not sure why she suddenly shows a very impatient/annoyed attitude answering questions and started shaking both her legs vigorously on the stool throughout the entire rebooking process. Felt quite unprofessional and disrespected, will consider switching my clinic in the future so I don't have to see her again. ------ Appreciated the owner phoned in the next day for follow up and rearrange my next appointment with a senior technician.

I had a tough experience where my eyebrow had drooped with another clinic, so going into it I was nervous - but she reassured me and took it all at a comfortable pace. Fantastic experience: I had my maintenance laser done here and got really bad pigmentation. I wrote an email and was seen straight away by the clinic manager. She was so lovely and happy to treat my underarms. She made me feel taken care off. I then had my second round of treatments for my hyperpigmentation and Cameron went above and beyond to ensure I understood what the process was, apologised on behalf of the clinic they both did and Cameron made me feel so comfortable because I had been feeling so insecure.
