Fantastic experience: My brows were thinning quite badly and I was really over drawing them on every morning, trying to get them symmetrical.. but not really succeeding. I had been contemplating having them tattooed for a while but had been putting off for all the usual reasons - nerves, is it worth it, will they look good, will it hurt? After seeing the stunning transformations on Katie’s socials and hearing glowing reviews, I decided it was finally time. I can tell you now, there is no need to be nervous! With Katie you are in safe hands. The cost is absolutely worth it – (just think about it as cost per wear ). I didn’t find it painful or uncomfortable - likely a thank you to the numbing cream, and 150% they will look amazing! Katie is such a beautiful soul, very down to earth, caring and dedicated! You will see that in her attention to detail, not to mention all the qualifications on her studio walls! This is her passion and she will spend the time perfecting your treatment. Fantastic experience: I have found Katie to be very passionate about her chosen profession of cosmetic tattooing , she is professional and caring. I contacted her with the view of having lower eye liner tattooing done but after discussion with Katie I agreed to go with her recommendation of having upper eye liner tattooing done in the first instance as sometimes that is all that is required, however I still felt I hadn't achieved what I set out to do and at my touchup appointment she did the lower liner for me. I am very pleased that I have had both done and I would thoroughly recommend for anyone contemplating this procedure to book in and do it I am sure you would love it as I do. Fantastic experience: I had previously had my eyebrows tattooed over 10 years ago and the colour has started to break down. I went to discuss options with Katie and was so glad I did! After a couple of laser removal treatments, I got my new brows done and I love them! The new shape suits my face better and the colour is spot on - i love not having to use eyebrow powder each day. I then decided to get my lips done as well, which I did today - I was feeling a tad nervous about this but Katie is so professional, she totally put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Katie and the team at Berry Beauty enough. I was hesitant to go there to begin with as I felt I had exhausted all options with my acne. I was at a point where I didn’t even want to leave the house anymore without makeup on trying to cover up my skin and it was really affecting my confidence. After Katie spent at least an hour with me talking through everything and the concerns I had, I decided that this would be my last attempt at fixing my skin before I had to go down the medical route. Fantastic experience: Booked a girls makeup lesson and what an experience! Not only learning about applying make up but the importance of skin care. Katie showed us the best colours to work with our skin tones and eye colours. I was blown away by some of the hacks and techniques she taught us and what brushes/sponges to use when. It has made me feel confident to be able to apply make up now. Katie and her model Rachel were also best the hostesses providing bubbles and a beautiful grazing platter! I can’t wait to book another lesson in with the girls! So worth doing!

Fantastic experience: This is a long review but this new studio is so worth the words! I have been to several beauty studios in chch and I was not expecting to find this absolute GEM in Methven! The studio itself is absolutely gorgeous. Katie has every detail covered - from the complimentary glass water bottle upon arrival to the cozy and relaxed vibes, this place feels like a holiday. Katie is very talented and experienced. She is fantastic at tailoring services to the client. She takes the time to understand each individual's style and comfort level. I wear very little make up and like to keep things low maintenance and natural looking. I used to get my brows threaded for $20 at the mall but had no idea what I was missing out on. Now I see her regularly for a brow lamination and tinting and trust no one else ha! I will eventually get brow tattoo from her too. I had a make up lesson with her years ago and still use what she taught me for my every day 5 minute natural glow as well as a few tricks for when I want to dress it up. Before holidays I like to get a lash lift and tint from Katie which always look amazing and last longer than expected. I am booked in to get my teeth whitened as well. She takes the time to do all the proper training and licensing and uses only state of the art equipment (trust me, I quizzed my dentist about her teeth whitening service as I have very sensitive teeth and Berry Beauty ticked all the boxes). What makes this place so special is Katie and her team. I'm pretty sure they get just as much joy out of my service as I do! They are quick and efficient but never once have I felt rushed. Katie is now offering group pamper sessions in the new studio (bubbles included!!). It will be so worth the drive to come here with friends and tick all of our beauty boxes!
