Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been a patient of this surgery since 2002. We are very satisfied with the service and medical care of this surgery. We have found Dr. Karthak, Dr. Basu and the nurses and reception crew to be helpful, friendly and very professional.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to this GP practice recently and was really impressed with the experience. The clinic was quite busy, but everything was handled smoothly and professionally. A special thank you to Richa at reception—she was calm, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout. When the waiting room ran out of chairs, she brought one out from the office so we wouldn’t have to stand. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really appreciated. I also want to thank Dr. Basu, who was not only professional but also very considerate and attentive. As a patient, it meant a lot to feel truly listened to and looked after. Overall, a very positive experience—thank you to the whole team!

Negative experience: Seen online that it was $19 per visit if enrolled so I enrolled, and was then asked to pay $61 to see a doctor but sadly I was $21 short I asked to pay the next day and was still rejected, this is the first time I've ever been rejected medical services in my home country, I guess wealth is above health to some people

Fantastic experience: I am ready to enrol here even though I have to travel from far. Local doctors enrolment sucks, I really to complain and I would suggest if possible, get your enrolments done with such GPs. Mr Basu, ppl at reception they are really friendly, even they attend you so well on call, simply wow.

Negative experience: Doctor are good but receptionist are never answering calls. I got Covid but i try to call them from morning. But no luck if they pick call in mistake they put on hold without asking us. Im with them only bcoz of dr kartik

Fantastic experience: This practice I have been with for the last 18 years. Starting with the Doctor King Karthak is a caring empathetic and humble knowledges Dr. His team very cooperative and caring like him. Reception amazing.lots of parking. I personally have recommended many patients as the amazing care in this practice is worth observing and getting.

Negative experience: Came through reference for Dr. Basu and he is highly recommended. However, the receptionist need to learn some customer service and help people with their questions. Hard to explain the situation in review but he was very rude when answering questions. Gave three answers to my question and was not sure how to sort the issue I was having.

Fantastic experience: Dr Basu and Dr Karthak are one of the best GP’s. They have been taking care of me and my family for the last 10 years. I have found them to be knowledgeable, kind and very helpful when I visit them .

Negative experience: Male Receptionist David- so unprofessional, so disrespectful..he gave me the appointment for my sons 5th month vaccination for 9:30AM … I went and he ask me to wait and said whenever the nurse gets time she will be with you… first he gives you the appointment then he asks you oh whenever the doctor or nurse gets free they will come and see you.. what’s the point of giving appointments then? He said only one person is allowed inside , but for the other two vaccinations my son had he allowed me and my husband.I needed my husband to help me with the baby.. he said because of the Covid we do not allow more people inside it’s more likely he has made self guidelines… when I told him that why is that like now everything is going back to normal he said please don’t argue with me no arguements please… he is just ridiculous to deal with… he is so unwelcomed… I come all the way from Takanini just because of the Dr. Basu … but the receptionist has made his own rules… he dint allow me to touch the door to exit … you need to wait for this male receptionist to open the door for you …

Fantastic experience: I & my family have been with Dr.Karthak almost nearly 20 year. He( Dr.Karthak ) & His wife( Roselin ) are very kind and very good hearted people. We are vey blessed to have such a wonderful doctor. May God Bless you & family forever.

Fantastic experience: This is the best GP in town, even though I live in Papatoetoe I still have him as my GP as its very convenient and Dr karthik is very efficient in reaching out Patients. Recently my daughter had pneumonia and with Dr Karthik guidance my daughter was able to recover quickly and I really appreciate his service and his work that he is doing for the Welfare of the Society.

Fantastic experience: I am visiting Dominion road surgery Since 2012 for routine checkups. I would say their doctors (Dr.Basu & Dr.Karthak) are very friendly,kind and experienced in their field . In Past I always had a trouble with their receptionist as She hardly pick up the call & never followed up any queries or calls but Recently I visited and found out many changes in administrative which is much more professionalise. Specially my phone was answered within 1st attempt and appointment booked without any problem.In couple of days again I made call to know my test results as somehow it wasn’t showing on “Manage my Health” app and Dr.Karthak was the one who picked up the call and He transfer my call to Practice Nurse Jennifer then I provided my details and within 2 minutes I received my results via email which was prompt & hassle free and she followed up until my all queries solved . Thanks to Jennifer & Dr.Basu and I hope I will get the same service in future.

Fantastic experience: Quick and efficient nursing staff. Nice decor and reasonably priced consultation charges of $18.50. I had to wait in the morning to see the doctors but happy with the outcome .

Positive experience: I have been attending this practice for 5 years. Friendly reception and nursing staff . Morning walk in clinic can be bit busy with some waiting Both the doctors are knowledgeable and have awesome people's skill. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Th receptionist / nurse was not helpful and professional. My mum did not deserve the treatment she got from the receptionist. Sadly, i would not recommend this GP.

Negative experience: Dr Karthak is really GOOD and vast experience as a GYNO.. I appreciate his treatment and likely to refer others... On Other hand his wife sit at reception. Worst, Careless, greedy Customer service. Never answer phone when you call to reception, even if you ca ll million times. No use, No Kind on patients. Money is always her Motto. If she treat same way next time I will complaint to DHB.
