Fantastic experience: As far as a dentist visit goes it was a great experience … professional and caring.

Negative experience: Glen Kirk organised a procedure on my TMJ by Barry Geldenhuys the first one didn't work the second one I had a molar removed at the same time within four days I had Sepsis, I returned to see Glen as Barry Geldenhuys had hurt himself, Glen couldn't help me and sent a letter to my GP stating my infection was none dental and who then referred me to a ENT specialist who then did a major sinus operation 14 months later I still Had a terrible sinus infection I asked for a second opinion and with in a hour was told When the molar was removed by Barry Geldenhuys a hole had been put through my upper jaw Into my left sinus causing continuous Infection, not sure why this business hasn't even bothered to accept fault or offer an apology very disappointed With both dental surgeons.

Fantastic experience: 6 years since the wisdom teeth drama all began for me just as I was heading to Hawaii. 1 played up, followed by 2. Between a miscarriage, covid, having both my kids, a cyclone and leaving full time work and starting part time, having an absolute fear/phobia of dentists and working so hard on this and crazy moving actually into dentistry work myself which I am enjoying. Im so glad to finally have had all 4 mother f’s out! “Sorry” but finally! Heres to looking/feeling like a chipmunk today and hopefully a speedy recovery. Will not miss the pain/grief 2 of them caused me, honestly worst than childbirth! Thank you so much Broadway Clinic/Glenn and Team in Palmy. All the staff are so lovely and friendly, i felt at ease, so efficient and so nice to have them deal with insurance also after a month going around in circles trying to get them out here in HB. I traveled from Napier to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted under GA/Sedation. We arrived at 9.30, had left at 11.30, got home and managed to eat some yoghurt, soup and lasagne pasta, was so hungry and my tummy had finally felt good since Friday. I was alot more alert today than I expected to be. Thanks again guys :)

Fantastic experience: From reception to the dental nurses to Glenn himself - first rate care and attention. In two separate procedures, I had two impacted wisdom teeth removed, a failed root canal tooth extracted and a coronectomy. No issues with recovery, and the nurse who took blood (Leanne I think) was fantastic, didn't feel a thing. I'm so glad I used Glenn's services.

Fantastic experience: Recently had all 4 of my wisdoms out. This team of people are absolutely amazing! Made me feel comfortable, safe and explained everything so well. Constantly communicating with appointments and information I needed to know. All staff are super friendly and patient with those who are scared lol! Definitely 5/5!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic staff put my very anxious mind at ease. With 7 teeth being removed they allowed my partner to stay in the room the whole time and gave extremely efficient service. I felt absolutely no pain and am grateful they made a scary experience as seamless as possible. Glen also identified I had been over quoted and reduced my original quote by $600. Thank you all for looking after me so well.

Fantastic experience: Was super anxious about getting two of my wisdoms pulled out always had a fear of dentists . Glen and his team were a super professional friendly bunch and made it a pleasant painless experience for me . Highly recommend

Negative experience: The worst dental surgeon I've ever had the misfortune to meet. I saw him for a private sedation for extraction consult in 2016 and met a very rude man who called me an addict for taking an anxiety medication as prescribed. To make matters worse he told me it would be impossible to sedate me and that I would end up basically messing up his work and my mouth. Second opinions were different but unfortunately the terrible attitude had taken its toll on my mental health and my dental phobia increased significantly. Thankfully all dental work done since has been carried out by respectful dental surgeons who sought to work with my mental health, sedation trauma, medications, and dental phobia. I was very shocked to read that Glenn Kirk is considered skilled in patient care, he was nothing more than dismissive, presumptuous and rude in my terribly unfortunate experience. I would die from sepsis before dealing with this guy again. 2021 edit: My experience & review stands but I see others have had better experiences and I do hope that is the norm and my experience was an anomaly. However if you do have any trauma regarding sedation please consult an anaesthetist who specializes in this area, much of my trauma was resolved inadvertently in 2021 by speaking with and being sedated by an anesthesiologist.

Fantastic experience: One of the BEST places both nationally and internationally for those who have severe ptsd/trauma and would usually need to go under general anesthetic for any medical treatment. The entire staff were friendly, professional and extremely understanding and respectful of my situation. I cant recommend them and the work they did, enough.

Fantastic experience: You never walk into a dentist thinking that the experience is going to be pleasant, but this definitely was! I had 3 wisdom teeth removed, the staff were all very kind and friendly. Glenn is a great dentist, i have minimal pain and swelling. All around good experience.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has had nothing but horrific and deeply traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, I was deeply concerned about having oral surgery. The team at Glen Kirk are incredible. They have a genuine empathy for traumatised patients and did everything possible to make my visits as least traumatising and painful as possible. When I had a complication due to having a wisdom tooth removed (through no fault of the staff), Glen and his wife (?) turned up promptly in the weekend to help resolve my issue. They were personable, friendly and professional. I experienced zero pain and anxiety (something I never, ever thought I’d say about a dentists visit!), and they sacrificed time off from their weekend to sort out my issue. It’s a shame they don’t do general dentistry as I would 3000% use their services for this. I would absolutely recommend the team for any and all oral surgery and I would not hesitate to return if I ever need to. Thank you to the team for helping me build confidence around what has been 35 years of trauma due to awful dentists in the past. You guys are amazing.
