Fantastic experience: I received a referral to this dental team in the early 2000s. I have been coming to this clinic for a while now and could not recommend it more highly. Dr Richard Longbottom and his team are not only highly skilled professionals but also incredibly kind, attentive, and honest in their approach. They take the time to explain everything clearly and they genuinely care about your wellbeing. What really stands out is how they always making you feel comfortable no matter the situation and when unexpected things come up, they are very quick to help and to put things right. The whole team—from reception to the dental assistants—makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. It is rare to find a place that combines top-notch care with such a welcoming atmosphere. I am grateful to be in such capable hands and I will continue having regular hygienist appointments. I am confident in my dental health care.

Fantastic experience: I was suggested by my local dentist to see Dr Longbottom for the surgery of two implants prior to him fitting of the crowns a few months later. I had reservations about the costs involved against others advertising similar services, but was advised on where some cut costs and had my mind put at ease. I was fully informed of the procedures involved during the process, had no aching of the jaw after surgery, had no pain or infection during the healing and have nothing but high recommendations for anyone to see Dr Longbottom for a, no complications, first class service

Richard didn’t just talk me through the treatment - he made sure I felt understood and supported throughout. I had presented with a broken tooth, a damaged crown, and an extraction that left me missing a tooth. I received treatment and three dental implants across both Noble locations, and couldn't be happier with the results. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service at Noble Dental! All the staff is super friendly, efficient, and kind. Dr Longbottom is great to deal with. He listens to your needs and wants and makes it happen, just like that. I had two implants done and the whole process was very smooth. All my questions were always answered with care and patience, and a smile! At some point, I had an issue with a veneer, unrelated to the implants. Richard went out of his way to ensure that I could see the right person for the job. This was time sensitive as the problem was highly visible and I had a public presentation to deliver. I highly recommend Dr Longbottom and the whole service and people at Noble Dental.

Fantastic experience: Having suffered awful traumatic experience as a kid going to the dentist, I was terrified having to see a dentist for work. Noble staff (Eugenie) understood my trepidation and went to extraordinary lengths to make me feel at ease. In my first sitting I had to loose 4 teeth and never felt a thing. Zero pain or discomfort. They explain everything they are about to do and options available. I am pleased to recommend them to anyone as an outstanding team. I look forward to my six monthly checkups.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction with sedation and it was absolutely amazing. I am very impressed with how painless and smooth my surgery was. I was nervous at first due to my traumatic experiences with extraction from other dental practices and I also knew that my case is complicated, but Nurse Maya helped me throughout the process with so much empathy. Dr. Richard effortlessly inserted the line on my arm to start the sedation. I was also at ease to know that Dr. Garth and nurse Eve were there to make sure the sedation also runs smoothly. Thank you so much to Dr. Richard and his team. They are obviously the dental experts! I cannot wait to get back there for my dental implants.

Fantastic experience: I was initially worry about having local anaesthetic in the mouth without sedation but Dr Longbottom managed to do it without me feeling anything more than a scratch.

Fantastic experience: Richard is the man with a plan and offers New Zealand's best implants! I highly recommend, making the experience easier personally helping me with my ACC applications (which was huge help) and the man also offers great chat!

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of getting dental work done by Richard for the last 16 years due to being a being reckless teenager and having a bad car crash knocking out several teeth. Richard has been super supportive towards myself & family, offered the best quality implants whilst making sure they are maintained with regular cheek ups...

Negative experience: Staff are good and I don’t have issues with their treatment but like others have mentioned here, twice I’ve turned up to appointments to be told your hygienist has moved/changed. After the first time I asked for them to notify me and that I think it’s a bit rude just to change you and not mention it if you book with a specific person.

Fantastic experience: I had been religiously visiting my dentist and hygienist for a number of years until one day it was advised I would need to have gum surgery in order to prevent tooth loss. After further discussion I was given the option to visit Richard and his periodontal specialists. That was over three years ago. The treatment program was amazing starting with the most advanced equipment and expertise and progressing to the maintenance teams located at both Greenlane & now Takapuna. For Gum disease issues you really need professional help and for me that has made a huge difference. My first visit back to my dentist was yesterday after 3 1/2 years, he too was impressed with my overall oral health condition. Thanks to everyone in the team and thank you Eugenie for such a gentle, 'maybe' even relaxing visit !

Fantastic experience: I have again the missing tooth as a whole back in my mouth thanks to Dr. Richard. I had the crown affixed yesterday evening and I just wanted to thank you for a job well done and a successful and functional full tooth. It is beyond refreshing to use it with no pain or feeling it mobile or feel of biting on metal like I had with the crowd on my natural tooth/root from day one to the moment it went for a rough 15 years. Everything I had between last night and now: spaghetti or a piece of apple or a sandwich or a tomato was just a joy to chew on. Thank you again and please be around for when I'll need another one!

Fantastic experience: I had dental implant surgery last month and the result was amazing. Some people will feel scared and ambivalent when they hear dental implant, but after consultation with Dr. Richard, hearing the very thorough explanation about the procedure and receiving very informative answers to all my questions, I felt very reassured and I know that I am in good hands, all my anxiety just disappeared. The overall experience was great. The skills that Dr Richard and nursing assistants possess were tremendously good, painless local anaesthesia, he made sure that I am comfortable and relaxed all throughout the surgery. The recovery was also great, I was actually able to went back to work straight after the surgery. Exceptional staff and incredible team work! Highly recommended!

He helped me pull out my wisdom teeth (my teeth have very deep roots very close to my nerves, one of my bottom teeth was growing horizontally towards its family and I was freaked out before I see him) He did an AMAZING job that I hardly even have any chipmunks swelling! Words fail me to express my gratitude to him! He is so professional and friendly! All the stuff at his practice are so nice and helpful as well! I want to recommend him to everyone!!!

Fantastic experience: I've been scared of dentists since childhood but am very lucky now to have a lovely lady dentist. She recommended implants - and Richard Longbottom - because she knew I wouldn't be able to handle having a plate in my mouth. He and his staff put me at ease from the initial meeting and while I was scared about the whole procedure, my fear turned out to be unnecessary. It is only just over a week since the three implants were done and, much to my surprise, the only pain I've felt is in my wallet. But I guess that's literally the price you pay when you go to the dentist only because you have to :( I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in my position.

Positive experience: First time visit to the Northshore/Takapuna surgery. Very well appointed, great view. 3 stars , no reflection on the staff or their proficiency, just my aversion to dentistry. It hurts having to pay for rectifying what old age and negligent living has bestowed upon us! But that's OK. Grateful that these professionals are available to address the mouthful of challenges.

Fantastic experience: This is the only dentist practice I have ever been to where you are taught with dedication how to look after your teeth and gums with full explanation of the benefit of total oral hygiene

Positive experience: The actual surgery was a breeze, so much better than I expected, and recovery has been the same. Very little pain or discomfort and I feel well looked after each time I return for post-op check ups. A couple of minor reasons for not giving 5 stars - firstly there were several date/time mixups with my appointments leading up to the surgery, and secondly the instruction sheets that I was given did not always match with the instructions I had been told at appointments, which has been somewhat confusing. But as I said these are both minor details and overall I have been happy with the experience.
